In this role you will need a minimum 7 years of relevant experience in complex retail/consumer financial services/payment services organizations with multiple financial products, or a regulatory agency or law firm involving payment services handling sanctions compliance issues which involve internal investigations, voluntary self-disclosures, specific license applications and general outreach to sanctions agencies such as OFAC and OFSI.

You will need a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Regulatory Sanctions Compliance, yielding a comprehensive understanding of technology and best practices in the sanctions regulations field. Project management experience/knowledge with ability to drive projects to successful completion.

You will need to effectively apply working knowledge of sanctions regulations and standards, current financial sanctions developments and investigative techniques to effectively identify and mitigate risk to Western Union.

You will need a minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a management/supervisory position with direct reports. Can effectively manage and train staff providing leadership and action to complete projects on time. You need previous internal audit experience and/or financial consulting experience desirable with professional certification in related disciplines preferred (CPA, CIA, and/or CAMS).

For this role a Bachelors degree is preferred or previous experience working in a corporate environment. You must be able to perform independently and with minimal supervision and/or in a team environment when required. You will need strong organizational skills must be multi-tasked oriented and able to balance pressure and deadlines with constantly changing priorities.

You need a proven ability in fostering collaboration and alignment with key stakeholder; marshals the resources needed to get the work done. You will need strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision making and conflict resolution skills. You should also have the ability to interact and communicate effectively, orally & in writing, with all levels of management. Lastly you should be a strong motivator who builds self confidence in others to achieve department goals.

Annual base salary gross: $98,080-163,467. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Unions total compensation package for employees.
