As a lead product manager, understand the business strategy, the business requirements to discern what is relevant for his/her product area. Explore the customer needs as well as develop insights about the needs of the customer that pertains to the product area. Create/Expand/Modify the product capabilities that will meet the business requirements and meet the customer needs/wants. Work with technology and UX teams to identify the set of product features that will be need to create (or modify or expand) the capability. Prioritize and align the features based on value targeting in a product roadmap. For each feature, partner with business, technology and UX teams to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that will meet the needs of the business with minimal investment. Scrum with UX and tech teams to work on backlog grooming, prioritize bug fixes, UX improvements and feature expansion/elimination. Accountable and communicate status of delivery, KPIs of features/capabilities, business requirements mapping to MVP to executives, portfolio, business and other product teams. Evangelize the product features and capabilities with other product managers, business owners to continuously add value to the larger org. Partner with portfolio ROI of the investments based on benefit analysis and burn rates. Manage the lifecycle of features and capabilities by expanding beyond MVP to release cycles based on build, iterate, release/kill, measure, iterate... approach.

Required Qualifications:

  • Three years technology product development experience
  • Experience writing both technical and business requirement documents
  • Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced, high-growth professional environment
  • Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products with particular emphasis on Project and Excel
