We are seeking a Lead Consultant of Brand Strategy to join the Marketing and Growth Organization at AT&T. In this role, youll partner with and provide counsel to AT&T business units to gain critical insights, develop 'move-the-needle' brand, marketing, and business recommendations, and execute critical brand strategies that have the potential to create billions of dollars in growth and change the overall direction of our company.

Lead Consultants will drive critical, priority work streams (on behalf of MGO and the BU leaders)everything from Marketing to Emerging Devices to Corporate Strategy to technology architects to global segments to Sales/Field organizations. This role is analytically rigorous, requiring the ability to ask the right questions, seek data-based responses, and make insight-driven recommendations and decisions. The right candidate will be highly collaborative and comfortable influencing, as this position must drive the work while partnering with MGO colleagues and various BUs. Senior Consultants must also be able to rack and stack datamaking sense of disparate data sets and pulling together insightful, cogent explanations for senior leaders.

This role will also be responsible for driving timelines, project managing major initiatives, managing the various stakeholder interests, and coordinating a combined team of internal and external brand strategy experts. Youll partner with key stakeholders to operationalize the brand strategy (or strategies) across internal and external touchpoints (experiences); including but not limited to sales, support, retail, customer service, retention and recruiting, citizenship/Corporate Social Responsibility/education initiatives, sponsorships, and marketing communications. Senior Consultants will also be responsible for developing new strategic frameworks, case studies, and ways for stakeholders to digest and fully understand the downstream impacts of various brand strategy decisions.

+ Demonstrated strength managing virtual teams in a highly-matrixed organization

+ Business acumen including fluency in corporate and business objectives, as well as product and technology strategies

+ Deep understanding of marketing strategy and the ability to practically apply these concepts to solve complex and nuanced business problems in a variety of categories

+ Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners

+ Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization

+ Experience shaping and harnessing qualitative and quantitative research to drive strategic decision-making

+ Capacity to simply explain complex concepts and research outputs

+ Strategic understanding of the relationship between brands and a wide range of marketing communications and customer touch points

+ Demonstrated capability to assimilate business group strategy and objectives and develop brand programs that support business goals

+ Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills

+ Acumen at working in a consultative or advisory capacity at all levels of top-tier organizations

+ Ability to advise on both B2B and B2C branding/marketing strategy

**Education:** MBA strongly preferred

**Experience** : Candidates should have 5+ years in business-building roles (i.e. business analytics, finance, marketing/sales, accounting, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years driving marketing strategy or brand strategy and execution in corporate, consulting, or agency environments. Technology branding experience for Business audiences and Consumer audiences is strongly preferred.
