**Roles and responsibilities of the AT&T Lead Channel Manager include but not limited to the following:**


The Lead Channel Manager for Financial Services is responsible for establishing and operationalizing Go-to-Market campaigns, industry-specific sales plays, and initiatives to grow revenues/volumes and increase account penetration. This resource will be counted on to be the Subject-Matter-Expert in a specific subvertical for Financial Services, setting the marketing strategy and executing with a team of stakeholders to serve our customers and sellers. Support of industry events, content creation, and sales engagements are part of the activities required. The resource will collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Centers of Excellence. This role utilizes data driven marketing and analytical skills to identify prospects for the Sales Organization.


**Responsibilities include:**

Financial Services Offer Management Work with Sales, Product, Integrated Solutions, External Partners, and others to configure solutions, formulate bundles, and manage campaigns designed to meet the needs of our customers in Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, and/or Payments. A critical part of this role is to leverage market intelligence and the customer point of view to understand the business problems and challenges facing this industry and move AT&T from product orientation to solutions.

External Marketing of the Finance Vertical Collaborate with Marketing Communications to guide the development of white papers, social media, and industry briefs. Create positioning and placement opportunities for AT&Ts vertical capabilities at key industry events and forums and in targeted publications. Guide the creation and management of an external facing Finance portal. Position our Sellers with industry trends and insights to enhance their credibility with their customers.

Sales Enablement Raise the level of discourse of the sales teams so that they can be the vertical. This requires coaching our sellers to speak the customers language through managing key levers that drive sales growth (including portals, community calls, and newsletters), developing sales collateral and tools, and guiding the development of vertical centered training interventions.


**Additional Experience & Skills required include:**

Solid leadership, analytical, marketing, and communication skills

Understanding of the AT&T Portfolio with the insights to correlate trends into an AT&T value proposition

Ability to create and deliver innovative industry content, working with Analyst Firms & others

Solid program management skills, ensuring deliverables are of high quality

Customer-facing presentation experience a plus

Experience working with large enterprise customers in Financial Services a plus


**Education:** Prefer Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. MBA a plus.


Required Skills and Experience


+ 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in area of responsibility

+ 5 or more years of product marketing experience

+ Significant matrix management experience

+ Project management experience

+ Leadership skills to shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy

+ Team oriented - ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

+ Strong organizational and project management skills, able to plan, meet deadlines, prioritize projects and manage a cross-functional team.

+ Experience with customer interaction, marketing and sales experience

+ Excellent analytical skills

+ Understanding of financial principles

+ Strategic planning and clear thinking with ability to drive change - develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas

+ Assertiveness - strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to share difficult messages and defend decisions and make judgment calls

+ Ability to formulate and implement strategic marketing plans

+ Ability to conceptualize, organize and manage projects

+ Excellent oral and written communications skills

Desired Skills, Experience and Education


+ 8 or more years of Channel Management industry experience

+ Experience interacting and coordinating multiple functions (working in a matrix organization)

+ Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Administration or Business

+ MBA
