The Strategy & Business Acceleration (SBA) group within Cisco Operations is a transformative team which focuses on the companys most important business priorities: unlocking new growth, driving alignment on strategy and building foundational infrastructure for Cisco, our partners and our customers.

SBA is seeking a Business Experience Design Lead to join us. In this role, you will bring together strategy, design principles, and business process skills to lead business definition in the context of Ciscos most important transformation programs. Youll work with a multidisciplinary team of thought leaders, product teams, stakeholders, and domain experts to create solutions that transcend both the digital and physical worlds. In your role, youll lead a team to take concepts from high-level design vision to detailed execution blueprints, working in tandem with the business and technology teams every step of the way.

Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with the Operations Strategy and the Business Architecture teams, as well as other thought leaders from Ops, BE, Sales, CX and Corporate Functions to design large, multi-functional, and complex experiences. You will interface directly with business teams, technical teams, IT architects, and domain experts to ensure all experiences you design balance the business perspective, the technical perspective, and the user experience perspective.

Who You Are

  • You are a hypothesis oriented strategic thinker with a Customer-first and Operations oriented mindset.
  • You are passionate about change and are a catalyst for creating conversations to discover the best ideas and navigate around obstacles.
  • You are an exceptional presenter / communicator and have a high degree of comfort leading conversations and workshops to drive decision-making at executive levels.
  • You rely on data to inform your decisions and routinely ask how your hypothesis can be objectively supported through available data. You are able to work with quantitative + qualitative data to make strategic recommendations.
  • You are a design expert knowing how to leverage all design deliverables and fidelity to facilitate meaningful engagements between organization and deliver meaningful design direction.
  • You can facilitate Design Thinking workshops, stakeholder interviews, design feedback sessions, and customer / partner usability studies.
  • You are focused on the customer and user experience ensuring all services and experiences consider how they can be operationally realized.
  • You can phase between the design view, the business view, and technology view ensuring all outputs are desirable, economical, and feasible.
  • You can phase between the big picture view and detailed interactions ensuring all design outputs are thoughtful, horizontally-integrated, and can be leveraged successfully by our development partners.
  • You have experience in end to end enterprise wide process implementation.
  • Self-motivated, inclusive leader with experience in leading multi-site teams.
  • BA/BS or equivalent
  • MBA preferred
  • Industry expert with a minimum of 10+ years of experience with As A Service business models, previous sales experience, revenue responsibility.
