Overview The Traffic Department currently has an opening to fill the position of Accounts payable/payroll role. This role will primarily focus on accounts payable, but will spend about 20 hours a week helping payroll as well, and is the primary backfill for the payroll position. Responsibilities Maintain personnel files for all work groups Manage JEs for Traffic and Warehouse Maintain Purchasing Card have a $200,000 limit Use Oracle and SAP for bill payment Ordering uniforms-manage process from start to finish Reconcile charges to Comdata for lumpers, lodging and fleet repairs. Fuel Cards/motel cards order and keep log, trouble shoot problems when cards fail. New hires order cards, uniforms, etc. Service Vendors Janitorial, HVAC, pest control, etc. Order all computers, phones, supplies and maintain logs to monitor Corporate Lodging reconciliation keep logs of the weekly CLC charges plus out of pocket as well. Payroll job duties: Reconcile payroll reports and driver reports Process Payroll for driver core Edit trips in TMAP Customer service, driver core and outside vendors Keep track of available Vacations and Holidays for drivers The ability to effectively audit driver trips for accuracy Have some knowledge of Drivers DOT Hours of Service as they relate to payroll Extensive and effective communication with various functions both internally and externally to ensure successful and accurate processing of payroll Communicate effectively with Driver and Manager Team Active participation in Run Right / TAG meeting Backfill other positions as necessary Other duties as assigned Overtime as needed including weekends Process Payroll for Metro Drivers Process Payroll for Delivery Specialists Process payroll for Fleet Hourlys Log books offs and all day off in Attendance tracker Track Personal, Sick leave and Funeral Leave for hourly and delivery specialist Track attendance and performance for Fleet Hourlys Verify and Enter delay/adjustment Verify PSL/BL info Working hours: Sunday- Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30 min lunch period, on-site. Please note that working overtime, weekends and holidays may be required along with being accessible during off shift hours at times. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $32,700 - $52,350 based on a full-time schedule. Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
