What You'll Do:


We are looking for a high-performing Junior Product Manager, to support our Product Management Team Leads for the Global CX IoT Support Services team. To ensure that IoT customers achieve business outcomes by successfully adopting and realizing value from our IoT products, solutions and services offers. As an IoT Support Services Junior Product Manager, you are responsible for defining Cisco IoT Support Service offers to provide unparalleled experiences to our customers.  You will work across organizations with both business and technical experts, with partners and customers. You will both contribute and learn a lot in this challenging role and will gain visibility across Cisco Customer Experience, Sales and Engineering organizations.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Global Product Management Leads, and contribute to improve services penetration, service attach and renewals.
  • Drive the service development process for new services up to completion
  • Manage existing IoT support services portfolio
  • Collaborate with Cloud and Compute Systems Product Managers
  • Perform market research, co-develop product pricing and positioning strategies to attach to products, develop financial models to define offers and ensure profitability
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points to translate into functional requirements that will feed solution and services definition
  • Collaborate with technical leads to ensure that product specifications based on business requirements are followed to completion in order to guarantee that they are constantly meeting consumers needs and resolving issues as they emerge and evolve
  • Actively contribute to drive go to market development, collateral, SKU strategy and CX process, sales training, and all activities required to generate bookings and renewals
  • Work to meet or exceed services targets, and support ongoing development of the knowledge base for our CX Support Services team

Who You Are


  • With 5+ years of experience in product management roles, you have proven, quantitative and people influence skills. 
  • 3+ years of IoT or innovation/new product introduction experience
  • Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate to Sr. management
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software delivery
  • Effective with cross-functional teams in a with outstanding stakeholder management skills
  • Able to analyze markets, document offer definitions, build business cases and pricing models
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills present to customers, partners and leaders

 

At minimum, we require:


        Position is based in Texas, Illinois, North Carolina

  • 5 or more years of related technical architecture and design experience

        3+ years of experience in IoT industries

  • 3+ years of Support Services experience and/or a very deep understanding of Cisco Services (Professional and Support Services)
  • A technical undergraduate degree in engineering, sciences, math networking. MS is a plus.
