Responsibilities

The ServiceNow Project Manager will have experience successfully managing ServiceNow implementation projects. You will be responsible managing projects from inception to closure. This includes, but not limited to, planning, design, requirements capturing/clarification, leading technical teams, risk/mitigation, status reporting, communication, process and technical improvements. You will also be responsible for building a strong team of ServiceNow implementors for multiple ServiceNow modules. Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies. Must have experience in PMP methodologies, tracking costs, schedule and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks. The Project Manager will work closely with the ServiceNow Technical Lead and be the primary contact for client stakeholders. The Project Manager will also collaborate with and coordinate subcontractors. The Project Manager will be deeply involved in status, demand and pipeline management, and risk mitigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementation experience on various ITSM modules
  • Manage large-scale project with overall responsibility for project's success.
  • Manage and motivate project teams, plan work assignments and schedules, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Guide and monitor work performance.
  • Coordinate project activities as appropriate.
  • Maintain accountability to leadership for project delivery and direction
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with team members and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders through routine status reports and meetings.
  • Initiate and maintain issues logs, taking responsibility for identifying and coordinating resolution of all technical and business issues.
  • Estimate resources needed on projects to ensure success.
  • Where appropriate, coordinate vendor activities to ensure project success.
  • Assist in the advancement of project management competencies, including development of methodologies and frameworks, completion of quality reviews and coaching others engaged in project management activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of IT experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow experience as Technical Project Manager/Implementation authority
  • 3+ years managing ITSM initiatives and/or technical solutions
  • Proven track record in a client-facing role
  • Active PMP certification.
  • Requires BA/BS with 6 to 8 years of experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Incumbent will have a specialized knowledge in at least one specific area of professional endeavor.
  • Must be US Citizen.
  • Must pass a federal background investigation and be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing ServiceNow implementations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear messages to all management levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with standard project management tools, methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects.
