Responsibilities

Looking for a Technical Writer and Editor to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our clients requirements. You will work collaboratively with developers, engineers, cybersecurity experts and project managers to ensure technical documents and manuals, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner. Streamline processes, develop templates that are easy to adapt and apply. Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.

Qualifications

Edit technical writing, communicate with project members, and define content goals.

Responsible for checking the quality of written material, firm grasp of complex technical topics and experience with editorial guidelines.

Provide feedback on teams copy. Advise writers on their work and make sure that all content meets company standards.

Write easy to understand interface developer guides. Create tutorials to help end users use a variety of application

Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals

Manage updates and revisions to technical literature

Qualifications

Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.

3-4 years experience in Technical Writing and Editing. General understanding of Cybersecurity topics

Bachelors Degree preferred

Proven experience working in a technical writing position creating cybersecurity system documentation

Strong familiarity with grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Proven ability to write and edit digestible technical concepts and content to make complex topics easy to understand.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office

Ability to deliver high quality documentation with strong attention to detail

Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences

Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
