Job Description
This role is the IT Solution Design Lead for Inventory Optimization and Distr. Requirements Planning Solution as it relates to the global processes defined by the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT). Ability to provide IT knowledge to enable common global designs, data, reporting and analytics and support the delivery and governance of PGT solution capabilities. This role will adopt and adhere to PepsiCos SAFe agile principles.
In depth understanding of Inventory optimization (IO) and unconstrained network demand signal (DRP) is required to evaluate business problem statement, analyze, articulate and lead in end to end solution build and governance of core inventory optimization and distribution requirements signal processes -
- Maintain, Prepare and Load Data for DRP and IO
- Generate unconstrained network demand signal
- Develop Inventory Optimization Plan
- Complete Ad Hoc/Scenario Analysis and Simulations
- Measure & Monitor Inventory Plan
- Publish Safety Stock Targets and Cycle Stock
- Review, Evaluate and Confirm Safety Stock Targets
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required
- 10+ years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP APO and ERP with a focus on Supply Planning IO and DRP (Heuristics)
- 2+ years of IBP Supply and SAP S4 experience preferred
- IT Expertise in network level supply planning and inventory optimization
- Experience in Supply Planning solution evaluations
- Understanding of master data needed for DRP and IO
- Familiarity or exposure to business and technical processes of upstream demand planning and inventory management and downstream production scheduling and replenishment planning processes
- Experience with planning and forecasting for large projects and programs
- 5+ years of project/program experience
- IT leadership experience with supply planning projects
- Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+, Azure Dev Ops, Quality Center and MS Project
- Experience with TCP, DRP, MPS as roles within the business
- Experience in cross functional roles preferred
