What You'll Do

Your role would be to help Cisco Supply Chain to ignite the full power of digitization. As we are subject to a constant change deploying processes, policies and technologies to help us to be successful, and we need hardworking individuals like you.

• Create manufacturing test plans
• Support New Product Introduction programs within manufacturing partners
• Work closely with HW engineering, Marketing and GML
• Develop board and system level automated functional test processes for sophisticated electronic systems
• Analyze various sets of data for quality & process control
• Drive test optimization, test yield improvements and test process consistency within manufacturing sites
• Tackle automation and product-related testing issues
• Collaborate with product team to define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for a group of products
• Provide recommendations to designs for manufacturability and testability
• Define and implement test philosophies for IOT products and Product Reliability Testing
• Perform product test coverage analysis
• Maintain test programs and scripts at manufacturing partners
• Provides technical support for all systemic defects, line stops, material purges and quality issues
• Quality metrics ownership and driving metrics improvement relating to testing
• Manufacturing test capacity management, asset, and budget planning and management
• Responsible for specifying test equipment, test fixtures and, test solutions
• Lead all aspects of the delivery and assembly of test equipment at manufacturing facilities
• Define/guide debug process for test engineers in manufacturing sites
• Initiate and execute the test excellence and transformational projects

You will be on the IOT Business Unit Supply Chain Operations team accountable for NPI test development in and leading our manufacturing partners to meet our expectations and to release product meeting our test metrics.

Our Minimum Qualifications for This Role

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (MSEE/MSCS is a plus); or equivalent experience working in the electronics manufacturing industry or any other automated testing of hardware or software field
• 5+ years of Test Engineering experience
• Industry knowledge and understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and test methods, including understanding of standard Design for Test (DFT) techniques and a basic understanding of Cisco or industry-standard test
• Strong programming knowledge, Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., Python - a plus, C++, Java), and Linux/Unix shell scripting
• Experience in Layer 2/3 data networking, DB query (e.g., SQL, Cassandra, Impala), Hardware Protocols (Serial, SPI, I2C, PCIe, SerDes, xMII, etc.)
• Validated statistical analysis knowledge and program management experience

Desired Skills include:

• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Linux+ or RHCE
• Strong project management skills and Agile experience
• Experience with development of manufacturing processes, test strategies (cellular or Wifi RF), and building and reviewing test plans
• Experience in a cross-cultural and global work environment
