What Youll Do

You will be part of the Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) team focused on the Intersight Cloud Orchestrator service within Ciscos Intersight cloud platform. The Intersight Cloud Orchestrator is a new and innovative service designed to empower IT and DevOps with a simplified yet powerful orchestration engine across on-prem infrastructure, virtualization and cloud. This is a highly technical role that requires a well-rounded understanding of orchestration, the automation of complex operational flows as well as key concepts of configuring on-prem infrastructure, virtualization and cloud. In this role you will be an integral part of the product team helping to steer the product roadmap to meet current and future needs of our customers. You will serve as a technical liaison to the field, channel partners and customers to ensure they understand product capabilities and benefits while in turn gathering value input on requirements and knowledge of how the industry is evolving. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering technical content and collateral, such as demo videos, training seminars, whitepapers, industry event presentations, etc..

Who Youll Work With

You will work closely with peer product TMEs, product managers and engineering teams responsible for planning and delivering Intersight Cloud Orchestrator features and functionality. In addition, you will work closely with the Cisco field and channel partner organizations to help drive adoption with customers. This is a high visibility, high momentum position within an entrepreneurial business unit of Cisco that has attracted the best talent and continues to deliver outstanding results.

Who You Are

You have an understanding of key aspects, technology trends and requirements specifically centered around the orchestration and automation of simple and complex operations spanning on-prem infrastructure, virtualization and cloud.

Minimum requirements for this role:

8+ years of experience as a technical marketing engineer or comparable technical role, preferably working on, or supporting some form of orchestration and automation across on-prem infrastructure, virtualization and cloud

Hands on experience with Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, etc..

Experience and knowledge of on-prem infrastructure architectures and configurations (Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, NetApp, Pure, Nexus, ACI, etc.)

Experience and knowledge of virtualization technologies and configurations (VMware vSphere, KVM, etc.)

Experience and knowledge of public cloud management and configurations (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc.)

Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering highly technical documentation and presentations

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt from executive to individual contributor messaging

Ability to clearly articulate and understand complex technical requirements and solutions

Knowledge of Ciscos portfolio and business a plus

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

Self-starter, ability to work independently
