Candidate must be a US citizen, and have a Secret security clearance. A bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience associated with product development, integration of Army systems and be conversant with the current / emerging US Army Air and Missile Defense weapon systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.


The candidate will provide engineering support and liaison between the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Battle Command System (IBCS) Hardware (HW) Engineering Division and the International Programs (IP) Directorate. Candidate will work IP changes/variations from the US IBCS baseline, provide technical input during case development, case execution and address any case specific technical changes.

Expertise in Electrical Engineering analysis, design and development functions is required. Familiarity with Army sheltered systems and vehicles, specifically the S-280 shelter, M1085A2 and M1086A2 vehicles is desired. Candidate must be capable of reviewing and evaluating drawings, technical documents, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), test reports, hardware designs, US Army electrical testing to include Electromagnetic Environment Effects (E3), PDSE, and High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) testing. Responsibilities will include coordinating with the Prime Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) on electrical, network, communication design changes to the S-280 Engagement Operations Centers (EOCs) and Integrated Fire Control Network (IFCN) Relays. Candidate will attend technical meetings, document and maintain configuration changes from the US baseline, develop solutions to found design issues or changes required due to applicable case requirements and address obsolescence concerns. Will work and coordinate with US baseline engineers to track design changes to US baseline configuration and apply as appropriate to IP Case configurations. Candidate must have an understanding of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and familiarity with the United States Munition List (USML).

Candidate will work with government and prime contractor teams to assess component integration approaches, monitor progress, and determine the most effective improvements to component integration strategy. Good communications skills, people skills, and enthusiasm are essential, as well as the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment. Candidate must have the ability to research data, analyze information, synthesize options, and make sound recommendations to staff contractors and government officials.
