Unit Description

Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking bring on an Internal Staffing Manager in Harrhan, LA to lead out workforce planning/staffing of our 300+ offshore frontline employees.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • lead internal staffing associates and dispatchers to coordinate all aspects of time sensitive crew changes for offshore oil rigs and remote land sites both local and abroad;
  • develop and maintain fluid staffing model of local and foreign employees that can respond to irregular fluctuations in business needs while still maintaining cost effective resolutions;
  • ensure employee compliance with both local governing regulation including OSHA, MLC,  and SEMS, as well as any foreign regulation requirements for international transports;
  • negotiate, administer, manage and audit local and foreign vendor contracts to ensure quality of services while maintaining cost effectiveness
  • ability to quickly prioritize and pivot for business needs;
  • identify develop and revise internal standards, policies, operating procedures, and programs to improve efficiency and provide clear concise guidelines;
  • develop and execute Crisis Management plan for all frontline employees E&R U.S. business continuity;
  • collaborate with Operations and Human Resources to develop compensation strategies for new hire and internal job change offers based on current compensation, peer equity, and skill sets/experience required for the positions to ensure accurate and internally equitable offer; 
  • other responsibilities included: mobilization planning, marine logistic coordination, training, and compliance; and/or
  • complies and/or adheres to all company, regulatory and customer driven safety policies and procedures within the workplace operations.

This role will require 20% of travel - offshore & International travel

Position Summary

  • Evaluates and manages dispatch team performance and trends in accomplishing various objectives, prepares reports on the results of specific activities, and initiates corrective actions to resolve undesirable variances in performance.
  • Performs needs analysis for placement and scheduling based on business trends and operational input.
  • Processes and manages weekly employee status reports.Works with Operations, Claims, and HR to clear employee holds.
  • Oversees scheduling of all employee certifications, drug tests, yearly physicals, and biannual functionals.
  • Manages and tracks employee referral program.Works in conjunction with payroll to process and review time sheets on the weekly basis.
  • Maintain employee staffing pool.
  • Coordinates termination meetings between operations and employee relations personnel.
  • Communicates all staffing needs with recruitment.
  • Ensures staffing levels on all rigs are maintained based on client guidelines.
  • Ensure client certification compliances are met by Sodexo staff.
  • Identifies, develops and recommends the revision of internal standards, policies, operating procedures and new programs to improve efficiency and provide staff with clear and concise written guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Functional Experience 3 years
