Cox Enterprises is an Internal Audit and Advisory - Technology Director. Under the direction of the VP of Audit Services, the Technology Advisory & Assurance Director will establish and manage the business advisory and assurance infrastructure by operationalizing the departments vision, mission, charter, organizational model, and operational frameworks. You will also primarily be responsible for building and managing stakeholder relationships across Cox teams to identify risks and opportunities, as well as scope and staff advisory/assurance projects. To be successful, you should have demonstrated experience in managing complex organizational programs involving multiple business functions and influencing change in a spirit of collaboration across organizational levels and groups. You will have management-level direct reports and staff-level indirect reports.
*You Will:*

* Strategically interact with Cox CISO, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Data Officers, and IT leadership to provide Risk Management guidance and proactive recommendations and to resolve questions regarding the application of firm policy, throughout the ideation, development, and ongoing operations of infrastructure for both internal and cloud solutions, governance methodologies and protocols
* Direct and influence Technology Audit and Advisory resources in auditing, advising, and counseling to groups responsible for IT solutions and key controls over operations
* Lead Bi-Annual Risk Management assessments of enterprise IT solutions and proactively engage business sponsors and executive management with recommendations to effectively manage IT technology risks
* Provide comprehensive oversight and effective challenge across the first line IT-related processes and supporting technologies; perform horizon scanning, risk sensing, and enterprise risk assessment and analysis; assess self-assessments, remediation plans, key metrics, and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) for IT related strategy, governance, and management
* Contribute to the betterment of Risk Management processes, materials, and tools
* Serve as a catalyst for change and continuous improvement by leading cross-functional and cross-divisional IT project execution; facilitate the knowledge transfer and proper application of continuous improvement methodologies and tools; and benchmark with external organizations
* Develop thought leadership materials to distribute across divisional technology leadership. Stay abreast of new and emerging regulations & trends that impact the information technology controls environment with a heavy focus on information security, cybersecurity, and data privacy
* Lead talent management strategies for the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruiting & staffing, new hire orientation & onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and workforce transition/internal outplacement; assume responsibility and accountability for the professional development of all direct and indirect reports
* Develop and deliver the departments plan, budget, objectives, and goals by building collaborative stakeholder relationships and promoting the value proposition of the department; conduct ongoing risk assessment activities designed to translate and scope business risks into department projects and priorities; schedule expenditures, monitor costs, analyze variances, and interpret department performance data
* Assume responsibility and accountability for maintaining a specific subject matter expertise and advising senior management/relevant stakeholders on the nature and strategies of continuous improvement efforts, issues, and opportunities within the subject matter area
Qualifications: *You Have:*

* 10+ years of leading multi-project, cross-functional advisory/assurance initiatives utilizing process improvement/Six Sigma and advanced assurance techniques
* 6+ years of leadership in people and organizational change encompassing visioning and strategy, leadership and strategic alignment, stakeholder relationship management, communication and change management, organizational design and governance, implementation of continuous improvement, talent management, workforce strategies, competency assessment, and/or training/career development
* MBA or equivalent work experience/professional education preferred
* Advisory/Consulting: Six Sigma, LEAN, TQM, Kaizen, PMP, or equivalent certifications preferred
* Assurance/Technical: CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred[PTA(A1]
