The Edward Jones Innovation Factory exists to deliver obsessively human-centered workflow solutions in order to improve the firm's ability to craft extraordinary experiences for our clients, branch teams and home office. Our small team is both entrepreneurial, and intrapreneurial - includes a combination of deep subject matter expertise, vision and strategy, systems thinking and product management capabilities that enable us to design and produce modern user experiences that show the way for the firm, and push to scale across all our design and delivery capabilities.
The opportunities that are ripe for the Innovation Factory are dynamic and diverse so we get to work on many levels including innovation, capability acceleration, influencing mindset shifts and partnering closely with design and delivery capabilities inside and outside the firm to simplify and modernize our digital footprint. Our Product Manager will be responsible for leading the ideation, design and delivery phases of our new Enterprise Capabilities that drive those experiences in partnership with internal and external teams.

Responsibility Summary:
* The Product Manager of the Innovation Factory (IF) will drive daily activities for a diverse group of innovation factory team members, partners and other Edward Jones teams, focusing on delivery of meaningful innovations with the purpose of improving our ability to serve our clients, branch teams and home office associates.
* Reporting to the Head of the Innovation Factory (the Head Of Software), this role will focus on developing an internal product team to organize and institutionalize the firm's Innovation Factory.
* Working with key stakeholders and business partners, the IF Product Manager will help create the vision of the Innovation Factory and will serve at the forefront of driving solutions to provide the best possible client experience through bold, transformative initiatives.
* Driving the collaborative development of the Innovation Factory roadmap through strategic partnership with product portfolios and firm programs.
* Practice and promote a data-driven culture, data-driven research, and radical lean agile ways of working.
* Showcase the IF's advanced capabilities to firm-wide stakeholders (such as data driven intelligence, intelligent embedded support, mobile, workflow/business process automation, etc.) in a way that leads to mainstream adoption from the rest of the digital organization.
* Establish a vibrant model of Branch Team involvement in the IF process; promote the model to the field as a showcase of how we are working differently and delivering more value to the branch teams.
* Work to compress the innovation factory cycle time and franchise the model to other efforts outside the Innovation Factory.

* Work in partnership with product teams who are working on adjacent workflows to IF projects to ensure user-centeredness.
* Develop depth and breadth of subject matter expertise in Product Management, Systems Thinking and the competitive/industry landscape, actively work to expand that expertise within the organization.
* Provide mentorship to other associates within the organization on the innovation process and technical capabilities that can drive extraordinary experiences.

*Position Requirements*
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related field and master's degree preferred, or relevant professional experience.
* FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 (or must obtain within first six months of employment), or alternative such as CFA, CFA Foundations, CFP.
Minimum Years of Experience:
* Minimum 9+ years of experience required in one or more of these fields:
* Lead agile product management
* Development and management of sophisticated workflow solutions in mission critical, enterprise contexts
* Financial planning, wealth management and/or portfolio construction
* Investment advisory, brokerage and/or insurance products

* Prior leadership experience in innovative, distributed environments with multiple external partners
Functional Knowledge:
* Expert knowledge delivering enhanced commercial value using digital experiences in financial services, including recent advancements, opportunities and current limitations/challenges
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex/abstract concepts in simple, cogent terms with impact
* Detail orientation with exceptional analytical capabilities, possessing the ability to effectively contribute across multiple teams, disciplines and time horizons
* The ability to organize, prioritize, and execute on work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong leadership skills with the ability to empower others and direct work in a way that maximizes both personal and team efficiency
* Mentoring capability to advance and develop team members and associates
* A robust understanding of full-cycle software development within a Lean Agile framework includes DevOps and SRE
* Product orientation with a strong sense of ownership, courage and ability to exercise judgment from strategic intent.
