Responsibilities

The State and Local Government Organization is seeking an Information Technology Senior Manager in San Diego, California. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced team delivering IT enterprise solutions projects across multiple departments and business groups.

Responsibilities:

Manages team that provides technical assistance to computer system and network users. May also have oversight for a data center. Provides 24/7 technical support for computers and associated networks. Manages a team of support personnel who troubleshoot IT issues. Implements policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected. Ensures maximum issue resolution in minimum time to meet Service Level Agreements. Evaluates new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user. Coordinates the preparation of bid specifications for required purchases (e.g. computers, software, (email, firewall, backup) and a variety of parts, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items. Directs, establishes, plans and implements the policies and procedures to support the organization's technical support services. Manages the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, desktop PCs, hardware, software, operating systems and distributed printers. Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities. Manages subordinate management and/or experienced professionals who exercise significant latitude and independence. Plans, conducts and supervises assignments, generally involving larger and more important projects or multiple projects. Evaluates and determines changes in methods or procedures in assigned area of responsibility. Determines candidates for employment/termination, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and is responsible for the application of company policies.


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience with Dev Ops and Cloud Computing
  • Local to San Diego, CA OR ability to relocate to San Diego, CA after return-to-office is in place
  • Must be a United States Citizen

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 12 - 15 years of experience or a Master's with 10 - 13 years of experience. At least 4 years in a management capacity.
Colorado Salary Minimum: $112,881.60 Colorado Salary Maximum:$241,321.60 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees.
