  • Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process, Kanban Framework, and Waterfall methodologies and how to utilize these within day-to-day activities.
  • Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials. Support meetings with Govt. Cyber Teams.
  • Work closely with the Cyber Lead to determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
  • Provide support to the Release Train Engineer (RTE).
  • Ability to work collaborative across the various Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

  • Requires 5 to 8 years hands on Information Assurance experience; with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow desired.
  • Preferred certifications: SAFe 4.5 certified Agilist, Comp TIA Sec+.
  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment while fostering collaborative relationships among multiple vendors, scrum teams and client product owners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate cybersecurity and technical information.


We are recruiting for for an experienced Information Assurance/Security Engineer.

The position can be remote with a preference to Annapolis Junction, MD.

Must have an active/current fully adjudicated DoD Secret clearance to be considered

  • Provides technical and programmatic Information Assurance Services to internal and external customers in support of network and information security systems.
  • Designs, develops and implements security requirements within an organizations business processes.
  • Prepares documentation from information obtained from customer using accepted guidelines such as RMF (Risk Management Framework). Prepares test plans.
  • Provides assessment and authorization (A&A) support in the development of security and contingency plans and conducts complex risk and vulnerability assessments.
  • Analyzes policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps.
  • Develops and completes system security plans and contingency plans.
  • Recommends system enhancements to improve security deficiencies.
  • Develops, tests and integrates computer and network security tools.
  • Secures system configurations and installs security tools, scans systems in order to determine compliancy and report results and evaluates products and various aspects of system administration.
  • Conducts security program audits and develops solutions to lessen identified risks.
  • Develops strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and e-authentication requirements.
  • Provides information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements.
  • Evaluates, develops and enhances security requirements, policy and tools.
  • Provides assistance in computer incident investigations.
  • Performs vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of a systems cybersecurity solutions.
  • Assists ISSE with the security control implementation and testing efforts.
  • Assists in the mitigation and closure of open vulnerabilities under the systems change control process.
  • In coordination with the ISSE, initiate protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered and ensure that a process is in place for authorized users to report all cybersecurity-related events and potential threats and vulnerabilities to the ISSO.
  • Ensure that all DoD Information System (IS) cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
  • Develop and submit weekly and monthly status reports.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.
  • Develop and deliver working level and senior leadership briefs.
  • Provide general documentation support.

Colorado Salary Minimum: $66,872.00
Colorado Salary Maximum:$142,937.60
