**Role Summary**

Job DescriptionPfizer's Enabling Functions Hubs serve to bring internal professional services such as Finance, HR, Digital, and Sourcing together into a consolidated and simplified shared services structure. Pfizer operates Enabling Functions Hubs in six strategic locations: Memphis, Tennessee, USA; Tampa, Florida, USA; San Jose, Costa Rica; Dublin, Ireland; Thessaloniki, Greece; and Dalian, China.

The GFS San Jose Shared Services Center (SSC) for the Latin America Region (LAR) is a high performing team responsible for the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Biopharmaceutical Finance and their business partners for the Emerging Markets. The organization performs certain Record-to-Report, Invoice-to-Pay, Travel & Entertainment, Order-to-Cash and other related activities from regionally centralized locations in San Jose, Costa Rica.

The GFS SSC - San Jose Invoice-to-Pay Analyst will be a key player within the I2P organization. This position will be the main contact for local finance and all regions supported by GFS San Jose, performing sensible activities such as payments proposals, accounts payables processing, controls performance, inquiries regarding any issue related to the I2P process (Travel and Expense/Payments/Accounts Payables), etc. Also, the I2P Analyst will help Genpact with any problem faced on their different activities and having contact with many different areas within the GFS LATAM organization (GL, Reconciliations, Inventories, etc.). In addition, this role provides exposure with the Senior Leadership of the I2P organization, enabling the participation in different tasks like monthly aging reviews, executing and guaranteeing excellence on the audit controls that applies for the I2P organization.

**Role Responsibilities**

+ Works of own initiative with guidance and support from Management and more senior colleagues

+ Responsible for end to end issue resolution

+ Assist the management team and other colleagues as needed

+ Maintains and when possible exceed metrics and goals

+ Organizes own workload, prioritizes, and proactively follows up on outstanding items

+ Takes initiative in identifying processes and initiatives that fits into our Digital Finance strategy

+ Has strong analytical and process management skills

+ Capable to make basic decisions over daily responsibilities

+ Promptly escalates operative and legal issues to his/her manager

+ Actively supports our GFS value proposition by keeping processes aligned with our delivery model and global standard, adhering to our internal controls structures and help identifying process improvement opportunities

+ Supports and co-leads select in-house processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and stakeholder collaborations

+ Demonstrates business acumen and be able to apply market specific knowledge in Business Partner and Customer interactions

+ Independently manages formal relationship with key internal stakeholders and colleagues of diverse backgrounds, including different departments, cultures, business units and countries

+ Ensure the timely and proper execution of adequate internal controls, understanding our SOP proposing updates when the documentations does not align with our day-to-day processes

+ Takes ownership on every audit request that involves his/her processes

+ Responsible for the maintenance and consistent application of Pfizer and GFS Americas policies

+ Primary invoice / travel and expense processing and resolution, payments execution and compliance

+ Interfaces regularly with internal and external customers / vendors to resolve issues

+ Evaluates customer/internal documentation and system information

+ Communication skills (written and verbal) - effectively communicate with internal and external customers and vendors

+ Organizational skills - ability to organize workload, prioritize, and follow up on outstanding items

+ Exercises sound judgment abilities

+ Good understanding of system functionality and processes

+ Attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

+ Prepare basic analysis for external accountants and Corporate Audit

+ Participate on organization committees

+ Participate in the delivery of internally developed training

+ Seek opportunities to be mentored by others

+ Operational Transformation support including primary processing, issue resolution and maintaining metrics and goals

+ Demonstrate ownership of personal and professional development

+ Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty

+ Capability to manage complex/critical scenarios


+ Bachelor's degree or in progress in Business, Accounting, or Finance

+ 1-4 years of relevant functional accounting or finance experience

+ Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required

+ Good written and verbal English communication skills required

+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals

+ ERP Knowledge SAP / E1 (JD Edwards) experience preferred

+ Experience in a Shared Services environment or Multination company is preferable

+ Any other language if required by the business (Portuguese/Mandarin)


+ Experience as a Subject Matter Expert is a plus

+ Advance in Excel skills is a plus

+ Knowledge in Yellow/Green/Black belt is a plus
