**JOB TITLE :** **HR Operation Lead**

**REPORT TO: China HR Lead**



Pfizer China is consisted of different Legal Entities including Pfizer, Upjohn, R&D Shanghai and Wuhan, PGS (Dalian, Wuxi, Hangzhou) & GFS. Overall have 14000+ employees.

The role acts as key contact point of Pfizer China to collaborate with Global and regional HR operation team.

The Role is responsible for Pfizer China Policy & Process improvement, payroll administration, HR on Demand, share service center improvement, Data Analytics and Data Integrity, M&A project support, New Employee and Manager Training, EAP(employee assistant program) support, change management and HR communication. HR team management and capability build up.

The Role is a member of China PBG HR LT, work in partnership with Client Facing and Compensation and benefit team to support requirement of HR projects, processes, systems and policies and ensure appropriate standardization and process improvement.


The role acts as key contact point for Pfizer global and regional HR team (payroll, HRoD, IBM SC, HRIS, P&P, HRBT, data, global mobility etc). As the overall focal, this role will be required to partner closely with HR Global and regional Operations Team members to drive continuous process improvement initiatives, ensure quality of HR data to facilitate business decision making and deliver effective change management strategies through communications, training and change networks.

+ Manage the payroll operations, compensation and benefit administration for the country. Ensure it meets all compliance, audit and statutory requirements by putting in place effective validation and sign off processes.

+ Review of service center metrics and developing plans of actions to meet the objective of continuing to embed a self-service working model in each country

+ As the focal of HRIS

+ Ensure the business requirement can be translated into HRIS system improvement request, raise the business request to HRIS/HRBT and track the implementation progress.

+ Lead to offer user side HRIS business function related Q&A support by leverage the regional HRIS team.

+ Maintain efficient and systematic processes to facilitate HR administration and database management to ensure the master data maintained on time in system

+ Ensure the efficiency data mass upload to system on time with high quality

+ As the focal of Pfizer Global/Regional Policy & Process Management

+ Drive Continue Improvement culture through HR to improve our current Global/Regional/Local processes for better efficiencies and qualities

+ Ensure adherence to core HR policies and processes in line with global and local compliance standards

+ Global Mobility support

Data Analytics and Data Integrity

+ Ensure data integrity activities (e.g. data audit corrections, crosschecks, etc.) are managed appropriately and in a timely manner

+ Meet Data Quality Standards and ensure scorecards are reflective of data integrity efforts

+ Lead team to delivery necessary HR data reports to internal/external stakeholders and ensure continue report optimization based on user needs

+ Acquisitions & Mergers and Divesture related Data or System support

Change Management and Communication

+ Change Management

+ Lead the overall change management solution design of HR initiatives to ensure key stakeholders' business needs, requirements and feedback can be successfully embedded

+ Lead the Change Management work stream to deliver the change management plan to ensure successful and efficient change management implementation

+ Communication

+ Design overall HR communication plan base on the communication requirement collection and analysis of HR team including TR, OPS, CF, Change Management, etc

+ Lead the HR related communication plan execution by different communication channel including but not limited to WeChat, Newsletter, Poster, Employee self-learning, WebEx sessions, etc.

Educate managers to understand when to use workforce transactions via HRoD and leverage Global Service Delivery Model

EAP(employee assistant program) support.

+ Manager the team member to drive and manage annual EAP program and ensure EAP program is well implemented in Pfizer China.

+ EAP related communication and Training/Workshop plan and execution

HR on Demand China SME

Team management and capability build up

+ Lead & support the development & resourcing of team Objectives, IDPs, Career Discussions & Capability Assessment of direct reports

+ Manager 4 direct reports and a total team of 7

The HR manager is a member of HRLT to

+ Proactively contribute to different HR Strategy Discussion and HR Programs support

+ By daily work result analysis, proactively contribute to HR process improvement and track the process improvement to close.


Minimum Educational Qualifications:

+ Bachelor degree in HR or related field is essential


+ Minimum 10 years of HRM experience required

+ Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in a matrix team environment in a collaborative manner

+ Demonstrated strong ability to drive HR processes and to deliver top quality HR services in a fast pace and changing environment

+ Builds partnership and strong working relationships with internal stakeholders

+ Ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities

+ Excellent project management skills along with strong execution skills

+ Strong business acumen and functional knowledge

+ People management experience preferred

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required

+ Excellent written, oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact with all levels of organization in both local and English language

+ Exercises excellent skills in the following areas: project & process management, strategic thinking, integration, facilitation, recommendation formation, decision-making, and complex problem-solving

+ Solid expertise in HR technical proficiencies and driving process improvements.

+ Assesses situational and organizational dynamics along with competing activities when constructing a project plan
