The Home Health Administrative Assistant is responsible for preparing physicians orders/485s/F2F for physician offices. Assists with checking the signed documents back in once returned from physician office. Reviewing admit paperwork for accuracy. Scans all documentation into EMR into patients records on a daily basis. Reviews and clears out print que daily, faxes missed visit notes, communications notes, prepares therapy evaluations to fax, and other clinical documentation when needed. Responsible for reviewing contract therapy invoices weekly. Responsible for reviewing the NONMC form and discharge oasis forms for accuracy and correct completion dates. Assists with the preparation of the NONMC/DC summary information for audit monthly. Assists with managing and ordering of the home health nursing supplies for field staff and patients.

  • Reviews and processes paperwork turned in by field staff for accuracy
  • ""
  • Prepares all physician orders and plan of treatments for liaison to take to physicians office for signature
  • ""
  • Runs outstanding list of physician orders/plan of cares for manager weekly
  • ""
  • Assist with follow up on orders/plan of cares not returned within 30 days
  • ""
  • Reviews and clears out print que daily
  • ""
  • Scans notes into clinical records (EMR) on a daily basis
  • ""
  • Faxes all communication notes, missed visits, case conferences to physicians daily
  • ""
  • Contacts field staff for corrections on paperwork turned in when needed
  • ""
  • Maintains all physician orders, referral information, service notes from all disciplines, lab reports, and other clinical documentation in an organized manner
  • ""
  • Reviews therapy contract invoices to ensure accuracy for payment
  • ""
  • Assist with phone calls in office
  • ""
  • Communicates messages for CTM regarding physician orders and patients concerns
  • ""
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by manager
  • ""
  • Reviews outstanding documentation lists daily, works with CTMs on current lists for completion from field clinicians
  • ""
  • Assists with managing and ordering of the home health nursing supplies

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • ""
  • 2+ years of experience performing administrative tasks
  • ""
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • ""
  • Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English effectively
  • ""
  • Able to operate computer terminal, printer, fax, and copier machines
  • ""
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
  • ""
