Position Summary


We are looking for a creative, curious individual to lead the development of thought leadership across PGIM Real Estate and Real Estate Finance.  He or she will liaise with our global research team and other subject matter experts across our business to develop and execute a comprehensive thought leadership program that targets our institutional investment management clients and our commercial real estate borrowers with the ultimate goal of increasing awareness of our brand and showcasing the depth of experience within our global business.  Additionally, this individual will serve as an ambassador to the broader PGIM organization to promote our real estate content and will also vet thought leadership developed within other areas of PGIM for use with our clients.  This position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer of PGIM Real Estate will ideally be based in Madison, NJ with ability to work in New York, NY.


 

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Develop thought leadership agenda in support of business objectives based on region and audience type including both institutional investors and commercial borrowers

  • Create global calendar and establish awareness and buy-in on key themes and topics

  • Manage the production of quarterly insights, flagship and ad-hoc whitepapers in coordination with the global research team

  • Develop relationships with key investment subject matter experts to stay up-to-date on real estate trends and key areas of focus including ESG and technology

  • Partner with channel marketers on internal and external distribution and promotion strategy

  • Identify opportunities to develop digital, print and video content based on strategic priorities, market conditions, input from portfolio managers, business development and other key stakeholders

  • Interact with senior management and sales teams on the development of new ideas and ongoing promotion of current content

  • Provide design direction and oversee production through the use of internal and external resources and coordinate compliance reviews

  • Support short and long form content, as well as key chart decks used in client seminars and meetings

  • Manage promotion and positioning on digital properties including web, investor portal, and internal content repositories

  • Monitor and review thought leadership created in other parts of PGIM and bring ideas and content back to the real estate business to leverage

  • Serve as an ambassador to promote real estate thought leadership within the broader PGIM insights agenda


 

 

 

 

 




Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of real estate or other alternative asset classes and familiarity in working with institutional clients

  • Aptitude to learn quickly and understand products and underlying investment themes and opportunities

  • Demonstrated work ethic; capable of individually driving initiatives

  • Superior writing, editing and presentation creation skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills ability to interact with individuals at all levels

  • Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to evolve as the role and marketing team evolves

  • Extremely organized and detail oriented

  • Effective presentation skills

  • 3 years experience in content development and/or content marketing

  • 7 years overall marketing experience

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Bachelors degree required
