The Business Sr. Group Manager manages multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' products and services, is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. Determines approach to implementing functional strategy. Accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). Impact reflects size of team managed, strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses. Full management responsibility for multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. May be doing involved or responsible for diverse (cross-discipline) activities. Typically, a direct report to a C16 role and function as an intergral member of the functional leadership team within a country/site location, job family, or line of business.


**Responsibilities:**


+ This senior leader will own the product profit and loss (P&L) and will lead the team responsible for creating, growing and delivering the P&L, customer product offerings and product pricing. In addition, this role and his/her team will own and drive all digital capability acceleration efforts/projects to provide new, best-in-class digital features and capabilities.

+ Additional responsibilities include:

+ Identify forward-compatible top talent inside and outside of the organization. Ongoing leadership of the team and creation of an innovative, play-to-win culture

+ Partner closely with internal stakeholders to re-design our mobile experience, drive new customer acquisition efforts, deepen existing customer relationships through the refinement and creation of compelling product offerings

+ Accountable for business economics, outcomes and roll out of digital acceleration efforts including the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure business impact and P&L management and tracking against targets

+ Establish governance of all initiatives including continuous communication with partner business organizations, as well as compliance and legal departments, to ensure all products are within guidelines and standards and appropriately mitigate risk

+ Recommend and influence digital product strategy at senior management levels in the organization

+ Analyze product trends on a national level to target new customers, outside the traditional Citi footprint, and identify potential sales opportunities in order to stay ahead of Citis competitors and produce new growth streams

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


**Qualifications:**


+ 15+ years experience

+ Accomplished change leader, can execute flawlessly in ambiguous and changing environments and demonstrates both a flexible and resilient approach

+ Must possess vision and passion for the transformation of the consumer banking business, with high energy

+ Managerial experience

+ Significant relevant experience driving strategy and execution of digital products, client segments, channel distribution, and customer experience in the retail banking/financial services space

+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders and organizations pushes self and colleagues to higher levels of performance by actively listening and engaging in constructive dialogue.

+ Treats people with respect and assumes the intentions of others are based on common purpose and shared goals

+ Demonstrated ability to manage and drive large scale, complex business initiatives taking initiatives from concept to execution.

+ Ability to balance strategic thinking with process-oriented execution, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal team work and external products delivered to the market

**Education:**


+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred

The Global Trust CAO supports the Global Trust and Wealth Planning business which is comprised of Wealth Planners, that drive advisory solutions and new business goals and Fiduciary Services, which provides the day to day servicing and administration of the trust structures.


This role will be a direct report to the Global Trust CAO and will take ownership and management of strategic projects related to our technology roadmap, operational simplification as well as control initiatives and remediation.


The role will partner with all parts of the Global Private Bank including sales, service, risk, legal and compliance in order to bring these large-scale projects to completion. The role will serve as the key interface between Trusts CAO office and our partners across the organization to enhance and strengthen our day-to-day operating processes and controls as well as our operational efficiency.


The Global Business Transformation Lead will be responsible for delivery of assigned projects as well as ad hoc deliverables that arise from within the Trust business or from the broader Private Bank; ensuring connectivity and adherence to Private Bank Standards. This role will partner closely with the Trust Business Risk Group and will be responsible for the ongoing oversight and risk analysis of the business globally.


The candidate will be a detail oriented strategic thinker with a passion for solving complex problems and building consensus. They must possess an unrelenting problem-solving obsession and a strong desire to make their mark on the organization. They must be as comfortable analyzing and reconciling large amounts of complex data as they are leading high-level meetings and driving deliverables. This is a global role and will require schedule flexibility to accommodate different time zones.

**Key Responsibilities**


+ The Business Transformation Lead will be the jack of all and will work on tactical and strategic projects that align and advance the vision of the Global Trust Business around optimizing the client, employee and control experience The Business Transformation Lead will also get involved in day to day ad hoc items that arise and require oversight and leadership. **_There is a strong emphasis on control and remedial project work as well as operational streamlining and efficiency_**

+ Understand Regulatory, CPB and Trust Procedural requirements and translate these into technology and process solutions that are simple, yet effective

+ Partner with business leaders to understand their unique needs and processes and how they can be streamlined in a way that enhances controls and create efficiencies which then makes room for the business to grow in a sustainable way

+ Partner with all constituents to ensure consistency of solutions across all trust centers

+ Own end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives from problem identification through requirements definition and solution implementation. This includes both long-term projects as well as daily ad hoc items that arise

+ Design and implement regional communication strategy and control structure to ensure all stakeholders are involved in and aware of key business change activities (system, process, policy, oversight, training)

+ Create key management presentations for various audiences that articulate our strategic initiatives and accomplishments


**Technical Skills Required**


+ Ability to translate complex business needs into a well-controlled, yet simple solution, whether technology or process based

+ In depth understanding of Bank risk control requirements in a fiduciary business and ability to identify control weaknesses and build end to end project remediation and enhancements to process, including detailed process mapping, redesign of process, training and rollout

+ Critical risk analysis with ability to design permanent, systemic fixes that will exceed audit scrutiny

+ Excellent skills in communicating change and hosting training sessions

+ Experience with Visio, Excel and PowerPoint and Project Management software

+ Operations experience / knowledge

+ Outside the box thinker and change agent must be able to move the business in new directions

+ Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently and make decisions and exercise judgment by soliciting necessary subject matter expertise from the business and control partners

+ Familiarity with Citi Private Bank systems and Citi Policy is a plus

**Education/Experience**


+ Minimum Bachelors degree required, additional qualifications preferred

+ 15 + years of large financial institution experience within the wealth management division

+ Work on high level regulatory / compliance technology and operational process redesign projects
