Renal Denervation is an innovative procedure that helps patients lower blood pressure. The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third of adults. The role is a unique opportunity to play a lead part in bringing forward a medical device with the potential to transform healthcare around the world.


We are looking for a passionate, analytical and strategic **Sr Marketing Program Manager** _(individual contributor)_ to focus on **Health Equity Partnerships.** This high visibility rolewill help the business grow by identifying end-to-end strategies and plans to ensure an equitable growth of the business, exploring partnerships and business models that use technology to scale business growth.


As part of this journey to work toward increasing both awareness and access, we want to drive the equitable application of the technology as the business grows, understanding the specific disparity that exists in hypertension control rates in the African American community. The role will engage partner organizations and stakeholders as part of this effort. In addition, the role will look to scale approaches in order to ensure our hypertension solution is available to as many people as possible. Therefore, we are creating this new focus area to drive access to all populations. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of these efforts to bring broad and equitable access, conceive the direction and drive execution.


**A Day in the Life:**


Identifies develops and implements near-term and long-term business strategies related to addressing and improving healthcare disparities and increasing the utilization rate of technology-based solutions for ethnic minorities

Will focus on some of the initiatives initially in the US while ensuring awareness and best practice sharing globally

Outline resource requirements short and long-term for execution founded on data, prioritized levers with engagement across stakeholders

Develop one source of truth based on research/data to publish findings that can be leveraged publicly with advocates

Develop strategy in collaborations with both external and internal partners including but not limited to:

-External: professional and medical societies, governments/policy shapers, patient groups, industry associations, and other organizations focused on addressing/improving disparities in outcomes and access to care

-Internal: marketing, market development, healthcare economics, education, sales, clinical, regulatory, corporate, ERGs, philanthropy/foundation, and others as appropriate

Represents Medtronic in forums both publicly and with employees in leading healthcare equity conversations, drive awareness and education

Engage with 3rd parties to understand and evaluate where there are complementary efforts that Medtronic should align to/support

Identify and lobby for policy changes focused on addressing/improving disparities in outcomes and access to care/diabetes technologies, including those that reward disparity reduction or penalize the persistence of outcome disparities

Works with business partners to develop scalable strategies, utilizing digital/technology tools


**Must Have:**


Bachelors Degree

7+ years of experience in Marketing, Market Development, or Consulting (5 years with Advanced Degree)

Previous healthcare-related program development and execution experience

Strategy and analytics experience

Relationship and stakeholder management skills


**Nice to Have:**


MBA or other Advanced Degree

Experience in forums both publicly and with employees in leading healthcare equity conversations, drive awareness and education

Previous lobbying experience for policy changes focused on addressing/improving disparities in outcomes and access to care

Previous experience working with business partners to develop scalable strategies, utilizing digital/technology tools

Interest in digital health technologies
