ADP is looking to hire a Sales Ops Manager (part of the Commercial Operations Center of Excellence) to help improve and drive change within our Proposal CoE.  As a key contributing member of the Commercial Operations team, you will leverage your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, attention to detail and business acumen to proactively evaluate our current processes and identify areas of improvement.  We are in search of team members who are self-starters, intellectually curious and who have a proven ability to seek out and develop innovative approaches to business problems/opportunities. They will partner and consult with Sales, Sales Leaders, Business Consultants and other internal teams, and provide insights and guidance to inform decision-making.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Manage and lead a team of Proposal Consultants responsible for delivering a modern, highly engaging, and compelling response to HCM buyers
  • Support the end-to-end proposal response process from request through delivery
  • Coordinate and partner with internal stakeholder, including Sales, Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Legal and Business Consultants
  • Lead efforts to leverage RFPIO for collaboration and project completion
  • Establish priorities and target dates to foster competitive advantage
  • Successfully manage workload and deadlines of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Regularly perform quality reviews on final or near-final documents
  • Develop onboarding and training plan for new hires
  • Gain a thorough understanding of current state assessment and develop recommendations to improve and optimize proposal response process
  • Develop and consistently leverage key performance indicators and operational metrics to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement
  • Facilitate documentation of core procedures and ensure they are updated as the business and partner relationships evolve
  • Define, document, implement and support continual proposal process improvement
  • Build, grow and maintain relationships with stakeholders

 

 

What you bring to the table:

  • BA/BS preferred in Marketing, Communications or English or related field
  • 2-4 years of sales proposal management or technical writing experience
    • Additional B2B Sales Operations experience a plus
  • Strong operating and analytical skills; strategic thinker
  • Initiative demonstrated through proactive approach towards improving proposal response process
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholder and partner expectations and self-prioritize
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix teams
  • Ability to strive in fast-paced evolving work environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, RFP software (RFPIO preferred)
  • Self-starter with confidence to own and manage processes as well as a team player
