Auto req ID: 273848BR Job Description This Global Procurement Director Designate role is responsible for developing, aligning, and implementing sourcing strategies for the business, while also learning all areas of the business to gain a broader understanding of the PepsiCo Corporation. In addition, this role will lead one of the busines units at the end of their designate program once they have a holistic view of the operations and end to end business and global strategies including but not limited to Direct / Indirect Ingredients, Sustainability, IT, Commodities and Sustainability. The role is based in Plano, TX or Purchase, NY. Key Accountabilities: Develop and execute the global sourcing strategy for PepsiCos categories. Continuously innovate and refine strategy to ensure year-over-year value creation, leveraging industry leading practices and technologies. Collaborate and lead 3rd Party Resources/contractors to resolve operational challenges and drive efficiencies. Proactively lead the engagement with internal Leaders/Stakeholders and external providers to identify optimization opportunities, including cost, quality, and employee experience optimization. Align strategies, action plans, and lead execution. Partner with Stakeholders to review and improve policies and practices. Ensure optimization and inclusion of PepsiCos strategic vision together with industry leading best practices. Engage and lead cross-functional stakeholders to develop and align sourcing strategies and execution plans to deploy strategies. Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of existing programs. Partner with business teams to lead opportunity ideation, to increase the program efficiency and effectiveness, including alternative sourcing, tactical bidding, and sector expansion. Serve as a strategic partner to PepsiCo Stakeholder leadership as they pursue business development opportunities across the industries. Identify opportunities to enhance PepsiCos proposals and partner to shape strategies and communications. Lead a team of professionals, inspiring next-level performance and providing strategic direction, execution support, general coaching, and personal leadership development.
