**ROLE SUMMARY**



Global Medical Grants is the enterprise-wide program that enables independent grant support and partnerships, for and with academia, societies, NGOs, payers and other healthcare stakeholders to advance medical and scientific knowledge, close data, knowledge, practice, or performance gaps and/or impact change in the healthcare ecosystem. The ultimate goal of the program is to improve the quality of patient care in a measurable capacity; GMG staff is responsible for the administration and management of all aspects of Pfizer's support of independent research, quality improvement and education for HCPs, including but not limited to, continuing medical education/continuing education (CME/CE), both accredited and non-accredited.



We have an exciting opening for an Outcomes & Analytics Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of a comprehensive outcomes strategy that appropriately captures key data (both structured and unstructured) and metrics from grant recipients used to showcase research outcomes, patient health outcomes and impact, and the value of Pfizer's support through our Global Medical Grants Program. This will be accomplished by developing and implementing assessment processes and tools, statistical analysis and engaging grant recipients to recognize the importance of, and collect/implement accurate, valid data and reports of research study HCP change, systems change and patient outcomes. In addition, the Outcomes & Analytics Manager will develop and maintain the GMG Outcomes Inventory a repository where both quantitative and qualitative data will be housed, enabling data and information analysis, identification of trends, meta-analysis of similar initiatives as well as other outputs that will be meaningful to Pfizer stakeholders.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Outcomes/Analytics vision/leadership

+ Collaborate with GMG team, BU and RU stakeholders to identify outcomes strategy; areas of focus/interest; key partners (internal and external)

+ Data Analytics

+ Quantitative and qualitative assessment of data submitted through CyberGrants system

+ Coding and analysis of unstructured data found within 'uploaded' documents that are part of each grant record

+ Develop reports using generalizable themes and areas of interest

+ Maintain GMG Inventory and website (Funded Initiatives)

+ Ensure that content is refreshed and links active and current

+ Facilitate linkages to internal platforms (Pfizer MAXX, Medical Navigator, others as appropriate)

+ Project management

+ Coordinate bi-weekly team meetings

+ Maintain relevant databases

+ Ensure deadlines are met by team members and vendors

+ Work closely with other GMG colleagues to interpret outcomes data; manages cross-BU/RU outcomes strategies; provide technical assistance to stakeholders/consumers of GMG outcomes data and information

+ Work with global and regional Medical Affairs colleagues and Research Unit colleagues on outcomes assessment needs, reports, communications, etc.

+ Work with legal/compliance and WMS O&E (operations) re: repurposing of data and information; dissemination both internally and externally



**QUALIFICATIONS**



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Advanced degree required (minimum MS, MPH, MBA)

+ 10+ years of experience in a data analytics field, including healthcare, either directly or indirectly

+ Strong communication skills; consulting skills; trusted advisor

+ Healthcare education/quality improvement expertise

+ Political savvy; problem solving; process management

+ Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Advanced degree preferred (MD, PhD, PharmD) in research, statistical analysis, adult education, higher education, quality improvement or relevant area

+ Global and grant experience preferred
