What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement global training strategy, program and curriculum across DRT, including vendor relationship
  • Create a blended learning strategy to include classroom-based learning, self-paced training, role-playing and coaching as appropriate
  • Design and implement a new hire onboarding program across multiple roles to ensure that enablement objectives are being met, feedback from sellers/stakeholders is positive and sellers are enabled to produce quickly and effectively.
  • Work with stakeholers to execute training ILT sessions as needed (ie: new hire onboarding, sales skills, product specific offerings, campaigns, system & tools, and process enhancements). This involves coordination with vendors and follow up on consumption metrics.
  • Develop & maintain a global training calendar of upcoming training events
  • Coordination with internal resources and business subject matter experts to ensure team receives the most robust, complete and updated content available
  • Partner and build meaningful relationships across the organization to understand the sales organizations needs, share enablement plans and information and educate the business on the VDC sellers
  • Establish and maintain formal and informal key performance indicators to track effectiveness of sales training program and initiatives.
  • Work closely with region leaders to hold sales team accountable to completion and implementation of sales training programs and ongoing improvement in sales capability.
  • Oversee and manage vendor relationships. Ensure users are onboarded and offboarded to appropriate training tools/platforms, accurate reporting is distributed to front-line manager and leadership and any problems/issues are handled quickly and appropriately for access.
  • Work with the training team to ensure proper creation of content that is engaging and updated as needed based on business needs
  • Resonsible for the VDC SalesConnect page and content on the VDC SharePoint site; ensuring this content is accurate, up to date and sellers know where to go to find information.
  • Act as the training SME on any projects or global initiatives.

Who You'll Work With

As part of a global organization, you will work with Cisco resellers, distributers to drive business outcomes for our customers. You will partner with cross-functional support teams including HR, IT, Sales Ops, partners and marketing and be responsible for building strong internal and customer focused relationships within a matrix environment.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate is passionate, energetic, flexible and highly organized, with the ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues. This role requires a self-motivated, creative, results-oriented team-player, who is comfortable working and delivering results autonomously.

  • You possess a Bachelor Degree or higher
  • You have 5+ years of training experience, 2-4 years coaching and/owning the actual training experience/sales enablement
  • Experience working with an LMS, as well as different enablement tools and platforms
  • Validated project management capabilities
  • Ability to work with Stakeholders, understand training needs and gaps and provide recommendations
  • You have a strong ability to create, deliver and facilitate training globally, both in-person and virtually, across a diverse audience base
  • You are able to travel on a modest to moderate basis. In some cases, you may be called upon to onboard groups in other cities for various periods.
  • You motivate individuals to succeed through impassioned leadership, coaching, and creativity.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • You have stellar communication skills; presentation, written, verbal, listening, and influencing
