**Main Responsibilities**

**A Day in the Life**

+ **Market analysis and insights**

+ Develop quantitative and qualitative insights of the high growth gastrointestinal market to grasp its current status and trend

+ Plan and conduct market researches: voice of customers, competitive intelligence, primary research, database and literatures

+ **Strategic planning**

+ Identify short, mid and long term portfolio growth opportunities to support business objectives

+ Prioritize strategic opportunities based on barriers and financial analysis

+ Plan and lead New Product introduction working with all stakeholders and creating opportunity assessments along with clear segmentation, targeting and positioning, value proposition messaging.

+ Work closely with Market Development function and Japan marketing leader to link market development opportunities to tactical plans

+ Form relationships with current and future Key Opinion Leaders to enhance understanding of customer requirements, market needs and market potential.

+ **Execution**

+ Execute best-in-market new product launches for Japan

+ Work proactively and directly with the sales team to identify specific marketing needs to meet business objectives.

+ Regionalize product collaterals and advertising materials to develop simple messaging, obtain approvals per local SOPs and create communication plan to articulate value-proposition to sales team/ distributors

+ Co-ordinate internal external training/ education programs that support the strategies.

+ Ensure effectiveness of promotional programs, track progress and report through dashboards periodically

+ Collaborate with national and regional key customers to plan engagement and congress events

+ Chart an annual plan for marketing events and execute in collaboration with event management and communication teams

+ Demonstrate leadership and persuasiveness working with cross-functional team like Sales, Regulatory, Clinical, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality to seek alignment

+ Leverage promotional channels such as sales team, peer-to-peer, congresses, eMarketing to propogate product messaging

**Must Haves (Minimum Requirements)**

Job Experience

+ 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical industry

+ 3+ years of marketing specialist in medical device or pharmaceutical industry


+ Project management experience

+ Customer facing experience

+ Prior therapeutic endoscopy experience

+ English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 800Competency

+ Critical and analytical thinking

+ Adaptability

+ Data driven

+ Innovation and creativity

+ Leadership and teamwork

+ Mission-oriented behavior


+ Bachelor degree in any relevant faculties

**Nice to Have**

Job Experience

+ Leading new product introduction

+ Demonstrating business turnarounds

+ Marketing in high growth businesses

+ Experience interacting with teams outside Japan/ stint outside Japan


+ Expertise in market analysis and researches

+ Strong knowledge of the Japan market landscape in therapeutic endoscopy

+ Leadership experience in cross-functional team including sales, regulatory, clinical, supply chain, operations, quality

+ Regular remote and/or face-to-face communication with global counterparts in English


+ Master of Business Administration
