Sodexo Corporate Services is hiring a General Manager / Chef Manager to support Oracle's corporate office in Denver, CO. 

 

The General Manager / Chef Manager's main responsibilities are the daily operation of two full-service caf©s serving breakfast, lunch, micro market, Starbucks and catering. The candidate must have food and labor cost control experience, exceptional customer service and leadership skills. Reporting to the Area General Manager, the General Manager Chef Manager will have oversight of 5-10 employees.

 

Position is responsible for directing all contract management service operations and client relations. This is a hands on cook position with full GM responsibilities over a small account with Oracle. Salary will be around 55-65k with healthcare benefits, 401k match, PTO and more. No relocation assistance is available at this time. 

 

Monday - Friday only!

 

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • Manage controls and compliance
  • Have high expectations for customer service
  • Have the ability and willingness to develop and train front-line employees 
  • Manage the daily food production including production planning and controls
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Have a passion for food

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Currently in a leadership capacity
  • Experience in managing and developing teams
  • Strong financial background.
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Polished leadership skills to lead a progressive team of food employees
  • Multi-unit food operations background
  • Catering experience

Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

Key Duties- Provides team leadership & training- Controls unit financials- Directs daily food operations for quality & safety standards- Supervises day to day activities - Delegates authority- Assigns & prioritizes activities- Monitors operating standards- Establishes a safe work environment10: Support workplace inclusion activities

C/S: Culinary focus with ADMIN responsibilities.  Limited menu, basic program 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years
