Sodexo is hiring a passionate Multi-Service General Manager 3 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC to oversee a dynamic team. This account is part of the UNC Health System and operates 500 licensed beds.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a $10M plus budget and supervise about 200 client employees for Patient Transport and Environmental Services at multiple locations.  Overall, this Director level candidate will be responsible for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of hospital staff, as well as follow through with action items that impact both client and patient satisfaction.

 We are looking for a candidate who:

 

  • has experience driving customer service satisfaction results and patient engagement 
  • safety driven and strong focus on employee engagement
  • has experience with outside vendors and experience with the Join Commission, Environment of Care (EOC), OSHA and Life Safety requirements;
  • protection, safety systems, civil, low voltage, demolition, architectural and energy management;
  • has strong financial acumen and budget management experience; both Sodexo and Client
  • provides a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff\u2022 strong Environmental Service and Linen skills in a healthcare environment\u2022 experience with all regulations governing hospitals

 

The successful candidate will: 

  • have oversight of EVS and Transport operations and deliver a high-quality product;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals to include oversight of client contracts and support infection control
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff; and MGT Employees
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

Position Summary

Functions as the leader for multiple core services, in a single account and/or multiple locations within the same contract. Single point of contact and/or client liaison in support of business that in total is greater than $10 million in managed volumeKey Duties- Monitors operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account of the system to plan projects, implement new processes, client interactions, and new technology to ensure sufficient resources.

- Develops business plan and budget w/each account GM that supports the System and District goals Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and Sodexo.

- Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison promoting a solid business partnership - assists in contract negotiations for the system.

- Maintains Quality & Company Standards reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sodexo / System Client(s) policies and procedures.

- Responsible for system succession planning/employee development/diversity initiatives/training/constructive counseling. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.

- Provides strategic leadership to the respective units within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications & Requirements
