Sodexo has an opportunity for a Resource Food Service General Manager for our Senior Living segment in the Tacoma/Bremerton, WA area.  As Resource Food Service General Manager, you will receive training and learn in a variety of accounts from $1 million to $5 Million in all aspects of Senior Living Operations Management.  As a Sodexo General Manager, you will direct and participate in all daily operations of the retirement communities.   Assignments may be short term or longer term.  Our Resource positions are temporary, up to 6 months, and could require traveling for 10 days, and then home for 4 days. Travel to various accounts will broaden the experience with the outcome of permanent placement in the market. This experience will be valuable when applying for full time, permanent positions with Sodexo.


The General Manager oversees overall service operations, works with unit financials, directs customer interaction and management of Sodexo hourly associates. This position will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through exceptional food and delivery of services.  There is a large emphasis on customer service and developing and training of staff.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Qualifications & Requirements
