Responsibilities

Directly manage the operational delivery of outsourced infrastructure services for assigned service domains, including service delivery, service level monitoring and reporting, problem management, capacity planning, service request management, and relationship management. Plan, implement, and track initiatives to drive continuous service and process improvement for assigned service domains. Develop and leverage effective working relationships with service provider service delivery management to build and sustain effective service delivery teams and processes. Collaborate with application development and application maintenance teams ensure the timely and effective delivery of supporting infrastructure services for new applications and enhancements. Support the identification, prioritization, and business justification for infrastructure service enhancements or extensions. Participate in the planning and execution of operational and management level governance for assigned service domains. Manage the development, submission, approval, and execution of service requests for assigned service domains to ensure timely provisioning and delivery of services. Has management authority over an organizational unit, such as a department, within a business, company, or other organization. Has ongoing responsibilities, and are not usually directly affiliated with project teams, other than ensuring that goals and objectives are aligned with the organization's overall strategy and vision. Have excellent project management skills particularly in the areas of planning and risk management. Have prior experience in leading implementation project. Experience to handle conflicting stakeholders to drive design decisions; show authority and experience in helping the team to reach to optimum design solutions when there is a contention. Will be the single point contact for any functional question both by customer and Development team as well. Should have service oriented and customer focused job experience. Assist customer project manager in project planning and risk identification/control. Review of functional, technical designs and configuration workbooks Assist business analysts (both customer and internal) with PIM techno-functional knowledge.

Qualifications

Requires BA/BS (or equivalent) with 16 to 18 years or a Master's degree with 14+ years of experience, with at least six plus years as a manager.

Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Often heads one or more sections or a small department. Selects and hires candidates for management positions within department, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff. Is responsible for the development of departmental policies. The functional activities will be the most complex and decisions will have a major impact on business operations for the entire directorate and throughout the company. Must have managed delivery within a data center across multiple towers.

Previous experience to include:

  • Managed P&L over $50M annually
  • Managed over 100+ individuals
  • Managed a data center
  • Managed large complex environments
  • Managed multiple vendors
  • ITIL certification is desirable
  • Completed a prior outsourcing or transition including the rebadging of employees
  • Solid C-level relationships
