Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager at St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. St. Anthony Hospital is a large ( 400+beds) central city account located in the heart of revitalized Mid Town and Brick Town. St. Anthony is part of larger organization with 20+ facilities in Mid Central United States. The facility has a cafe area, At Your Request room service dining, and a large production area that services more than one building.

Reporting to the General Manager, our Operations Manager will oversee Sodexo Food Management, a $2.1M retail cafe, patient dining services and Doctors' Lounge in the hospital.

Candidate will: 

  • Providing the customer with a consistent quality experience in the retail caf©.
  • Excellent team leadership, drive morale and productivity
  • Assisting in the maintenance of cash control and payroll records, FMS, POS systems, and AYR support
  • Supervision and scheduling of up to 25 employees and will work to ensure high quality customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
  • Ensuring compliance to food safety, sanitation and overall work place safety standards.
  • Flexibility - ability to work as needed some nights and weeekends.

Position Summary

Provides leadership and supervision for the on-site food service exempt and non-exempt level staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client. Provides supervision for food services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the company. Implements business practices in order to uphold company mission, values and commitments made in the Sodexo client contractual agreement.Key Duties- Establishes a safe work environment

- Assumes General Managers (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence

- Utilizes Sodexo tools and programs to develop client, customer, and staff relationships,  to ensure account retention

- Implements and fully utilizes all Sodexo tools and programs to ensure financial outcomes

- Directs daily operations of food service to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources, ensures operating standards and regulatory requirements are met

- Develops and implements plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan

- Ensures adherence to all HR standards for Sodexo, client, and  regulatory agencies 

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.Sodexo is an EEO/AA/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
