At Edward Jones, we help clients achieve their serious, long-term financial goals by understanding their needs and implementing tailored solutions. To ensure a personal client experience, we have located our 14,000+ branch offices where our more than 7 million clients live and work.

A typical branch office has one financial advisor who meets with clients face-to-face and one branch office administrator who enhances the team's ability to build deep relationships with clients. Headquarters associates in St. Louis and Tempe provide support and expertise to help U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. Edward Jones currently has more branch offices than any other financial services firm, and we continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.
The Municipal Trading Department within Edward Jones is primarily responsible for providing our Financial Advisors with a broad supply of highly diversified and fairly priced municipal bonds that are used to help our more than 7 million clients reach their financial goals. We analyze, identify, and pursue opportunities in the marketplace while seeking the best execution possible on every trade.

A strong candidate for a Trader I in the Municipal Trading Department will have a passion for capital markets, effective risk management & analytic skills, and be able to make capital commitments with minimal oversight. Additionally, strong attention to detail is a must as trader decisions and actions directly impact our clients and include exposure to regulatory, financial, and reputational risk for the firm. If you have the desire and drive to be directly involved in capital markets, committing capital and managing risk while aligning yourself with the strategic direction of the firm, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
