*Firm Portfolio Manager*

The* *Firm Portfolio management Office (Firm PMO)* *is an enterprise-level, strategic portfolio management office that serves as a critical link between enterprise vision and the work of the firm. It aims to provide a standard organizational methodology for planning, executing, staffing, prioritizing and learning from all efforts that comprise the firm's portfolio.

Working with the Portfolio Insights Director, this role assumes the responsibility for supporting organizational and Technology leadership in their efforts at overseeing, managing and leveraging the entire life cycle of investments and initiatives (IT and non-IT), to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives.
The Firm Portfolio Manager is a primary resource to the firm's portfolio governance committee as well as to the Operating Forum as well as other product, program/project related steering committees.
*Key Responsibilities:*

* Facilitate and coordinate the efforts of the firm portfolio's governance committee toward the establishment of the portfolio definition, its structure and processes, from demand management and strategic alignment of products, projects and programs to portfolio categories and criteria, through evaluation, selection and prioritization; to execution, tracking and measuring the achieved results.

* Responsible for leading team and mentoring associates; define, develop and execute Firm PMO associate training roadmaps in partnership with Program Delivery Director

* Engage with and conduct quarterly and interval reviews with senior business, Technology executives, stakeholder committees, and other relevant bodies to validate and assess the enterprise portfolio, execute change, and reprioritize to meet business needs as required.

* Manage the capital planning process for respective business segments, and partner with Vendor Management to drive vendor evaluation and selection for new solutions.

* Work with Portfolio Insights Director to support and advice senior leadership on actions required to balance the portfolio, and ensure the oversight and coordination of dependencies across the projects and programs in the portfolio and resolve or escalate conflicts.

* Direct the development and maintenance of communications and reporting around the portfolio, their contents and the individual performance of initiatives to stakeholders

* Ensure the adherence to the appropriate governance functions relating to the portfolio and in accordance with firm guidelines, policies and practices.

* Partner with Program Delivery Director, to perform regular health checks of project and program QA checklists, to include designated groups for product QA checklists

* Identify staffing needs to ensure and balance the availability of the required skills and competencies across project, program and product teams within the portfolio.

* Develop and maintain appropriate banking industry knowledge of common financial services concepts, practices and procedures

*Position Qualifications:*

* Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

* 12+ years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs and/or products.

* Experience working in a matrix organization managing executive stakeholders

* Experience leading projects for banking operations, loan servicing, and enterprise risk departments at a financial institution preferred but not required

* Experience with Digital Transformation and customer experience improvement initiatives.

* Background in consulting, business analytics with strong presentation skills

* Demonstrated experience in influencing senior leadership and leading diverse teams

* Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to provide direction, create a strong team environment and build firm talent

* Exceptional technical aptitude and analytical skills. Financial Planning, Investment management, Systems thinking, change management, building relationships, Consensus building


* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent desired

* Scrum Master Certification and/or PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) Certification desired

* Program Management Professional (PGMP) and Portfolio Management Professional (PfMgP) preferred

* Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
