Prudential is seeking two Worksite Financial Wellness Account Executives to join Prudential Advisors Financial Wellness Sales team.  One position will cover the Chicago, Illinois area and the second will cover northern California. These positions can be worked virtually from a home office however will require the incumbents to be located within a reasonable travel distance of those areas.

The individual chosen for this position will be responsible for attaining new customer agreements with institutional and non-institutional customers for Prudentials Financial Wellness Program in partnership with Group Insurance Account Executives and Sales Executives, Retirement Key Account Reps and Relationship Managers, Financial Professionals & Producer Firms.  Prudentials Financial Wellness solutions include, but are not limited to, Pathways Series, One-Hour Seminars, Executive Seminars, New Beginnings Offerings, Retirement-Your Next Chapter, Prudential Advisors Onsite, Digital, LINK, Student Loan Assistance, PruPassages, and GreenPath.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Introducing Financial Wellness solutions to Group Insurance (GI), Retirement (RET), Natural Market Customers & Producer Firms within stated territory and conducting appropriate follow-up
  • Responsible for overall attainment of sales goals and submission of sales alerts upon completion of a sale
  • Overseeing customer implementation of all Financial Wellness solutions to ensure alignment of logistics, details and goals. This includes working closely with the program coordinator on execution and the registration process.
  • Maintaining customer relationships and cross-selling, when appropriate
  • Developing strong relationships with Prudential Advisors field management and Pathways speakers in stated territory
  • Holding monthly wholesaling calls with Group Insurance and/or Retirement partners to ensure understanding of full Financial Wellness program offering and to discuss client updates
  • Discussing program feedback with key stakeholders after conclusion of seminars
  • Staying informed of Pathways speakers 1-on-1 consultations through data collected by Prudential Advisors Program Support Team
  • Meeting quarterly with Managing Directors in stated territory to review activity of Pathways Speakers/Jr. Partner(s)
  • Meet with Territorial Vice Presidents quarterly to review activity
  • Deliver Natural Market Presentations within Prudential Advisors firms in designated geographic territory
  • Deliver Broker/Producer Firm lunch and learns within designated geographic territory
  • Other duties assigned

  • B to B sales & service experience strongly preferred
  • 3 years experience in a relationship management role within the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of Prudentials Financial Wellness Program
  • Working knowledge of Group Insurance and Retirement products and solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functional teams with all levels of the organization as well as with Leaders outside of Prudential 
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, organizational, problem solving, verbal and written communications, listening, and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, independent and capable of performing in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to develop and grow relationships, while maintaining targeted retention rates
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
