ADP is hiring a Financial Services Funding Compliance Analyst I. In this position you will conducts and interpret complex research analysis utilizing credit assessment systems, internet sites, and client processing history to minimize risk and financial exposure to ADP. Assesses existing clients and sales prospects to determine eligibility for money movement product offerings, provides recommendations to Service Center Finance Executives and Financial Service Leadership, and ensures recommendations are aligned with the Major Accounts Risk Policy. Provides alternative solutions for product offerings and funding methods to maintain sales opportunities and to meet client and sales prospect needs while balancing ADP's financial exposure with potential revenue opportunities. Works closely with Sales, Implementation, Financial Service Leadership and Service Center Senior Leadership to evaluate prospects, communicate decisions internally and externally, and provide support to ensure client satisfaction and retention goals are met.

Acts with urgency for clients, Service Centers and CAPS business partners to ensure bankruptcy notifications are responded to and addressed timely. Communicates funding and feature changes to clients directly, while ensuring the payroll, tax and money movement systems are leveraged to minimize exposure.

Acts as subject matter expert for ADP on credit decisioning tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Gathers client and prospect profile information from business partners in Sales, Implementation, and Service in order to provide recommendations to ensure financial exposures are balanced with revenue opportunities.
  • Utilizes credit assessment systems to provide Financial Service Leadership, Service Center Finance Executives, as well as the Sales and Implementation organizations, with decisions and recommendations on managing high risk clients and sales prospects.
  • Utilizes case management systems (ADPO and eAccess), to ensure information obtained is documented and available for internal and external audit reviews.
  • Recommends feature and funding solutions to support Sales goals, opportunities, client/prospect needs and the overall client relationship when the client/prospect does not meet minimum MAS Risk Policy eligibility requirements.
  • Provides notification to clients regarding eligibility and funding requirements associated with money movement product offerings.
  • Required to collaborate with high level executives, both internally and externally, to provide background and understanding of our policy and requirements necessary for risk avoidance. Assists Sales and Implementation partners to communicate feature, funding and payroll processing requirements to clients/prospects.
  • Analyzes and determines acceptable risk exceptions and provides recommendations on funding methods and feature offerings to minimize ADP financial risk exposure.
  • Researches credit reports and coordinates communications with credit vendors to investigate credit opportunities.
  • Oversees the exception process to ensure recommendations outside of policy guidelines are in the best interest of ADP.
  • Manages case load to ensure start dates are achieved in order to meet client start date expectations.
  • Ensures requests are addressed timely and manages escalations to ensure start timeframes are met.
  • Works directly with CAPS to ensure clients entering into bankruptcy or clients identified as demonstrating high risk behaviors have appropriate funding and feature changes in place to reduce ADP's financial exposure and to adhere to the MAS Risk Policy.
  • Reviews and generates in-depth analysis on clients who are considered high risk, and provides recommendations on continuance of features and or funding changes.
  • Communicates required feature and funding method changes to such clients.
  • Validates internal systems to ensure proper information is updated regarding a client's bankruptcy status to mitigate risk.
  • Educates internal business partners and clients on risk mitigation practices, policy, and credit resources.
  • Provides technical support, and troubleshoots system issues related to credit assessment tools.
  • Continually upgrades knowledge and skill level related to MAS Risk Policy, Money Movement and CAPS product offerings to increase proficiency of analysis.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • 1-3 Years of Directly Related Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
  • Some College Preferred
  • Experience as a Financial Services Funding Representative, or the equivalent, with in-depth knowledge of the tax filing and banking products and systems.
  • Experience researching credit reports and in analyzing region performance helpful.
  • A proven proficiency in providing technical support and in dealing with clients desired .
  • Knowledge of regional and CAPS workflow processes desired.
  • Some credit experience helpful.
  • Experience with PC applications/ workstation, and MS Office applications required.
  • Errors can result in extremely dissatisfied clients, missed deadlines, financial loss and damage to ADP's reputation.
  • Because of the sensitive nature of feature and funding offerings strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Time management skills are necessary to ensure items with competing deadlines are addressed to mitigate potential risk
  • Must posses thorough knowledge of payroll, tax, and internal banking systems
  • Must be able to negotiate with all levels of leadership internally and externally.
