The Financial Consultant will function as the lead for Medical and Specialty Membership Metric for E&I Commercial
""

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Lead in completing all tasks associated with monthly Medical and Specialty membership metric; ETL, reporting, quality and analytics (new business, cancels, persistency, etc.)
  • ""
  • Ensure timelines are met, interacts with the Health Plans to ensure appropriate coding and become the SME for membership metric data
  • ""
  • Ensure accuracy of data that is used to support Internal Comp for sales, provides trend information that feeds the forecast, provides metrics used to track Health Plan performance and is used by many downstream users
  • ""
  • Various ad hoc analyses and reports as necessary
  • ""
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and identify areas of improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting
  • ""
  • 5+ years progressive experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis, or similar field
  • ""
  • Experience working collaboratively across a matrix environment to positively influence business partners
  • ""
  • Work experience anticipating issues, assessing their implications, and developing and implementing an appropriate action plan
  • ""
  • Master knowledge of the systematic processing of data from upstream source systems through our functions/systems to downstream sources along with supporting business processes
  • ""
  • Proven ability to own and manage processes end to end with limited oversight, and take on increasing amounts of responsibility
  • ""
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, making assumptions/decisions with incomplete information
  • ""
  • Advanced Proficiency with Excel, Access, SQL, Outlook and Word
  • ""
  • Enterprise financial systems such as PeopleSoft / Essbase / Smartview
  • ""
  • Strong analytic background, attention to details
  • ""
