Job Description

As a Finance Associate Manager at PepsiCo, you will be a key Finance contact responsible for providing the financial expertise and acumen that enables effective decision-making within the IT Operations team. The Finance Associate Manager will help deliver financial plans and drive the productivity agenda for IT Operations, including teams based across international sectors. You will collaborate with the Finance Director and senior IT Operations leadership to develop strategies in order to deliver against AOP objectives. In addition, you will also work with the extended IT Finance team to develop tools and dashboards that enable data analysis.



The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide overall cost center management including financial project tracking, preparation of period forecasts and AOP and complex cross charges for development and ongoing support of shared projects.
  • Support IT Operations teams, including Technology Management and Service Management.
  • Provide periodic status reports on financials to PepsiCo senior executive leadership including VP Global Technology Management and team leadership.
  • Support identification, collection and reporting of appropriate global metrics to track productivity performance and drive improvement.
  • Support financial analysis and modeling support for potential productivity opportunities including global IT systems.
  • Partner with key suppliers to ensure reporting and billing accuracy including validation of monthly supplier charges.
  • Deliver insightful analysis of business results to leadership team and perform ad-hoc analyses and provide recommendations to help improve business results.

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 5+ years of experience and practical exposure in some of the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control. Functional finance experience is a plus (e.g. Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, etc.
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • SAP/Financial Systems experience related to cost center management (AOP, Forecast, Reporting, Analysis)
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
  • Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
  • Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications
  • Tableau experience is a plus
