General Summary: The Credit Risk Associate Analyst is a key asset to the Credit Risk COE, heavily involved in the day-to-day management of credit risk mitigation strategies with a key emphasis on credit review, processing, reporting and maintenance of customer and/or supplier data. The volume, complexity, and divergent sources of information to review in this position requires an understanding of accounting and finance. This position will primarily work across several business lines and utilize multiple operating platforms. The volume and complexity of the work requires a self-driven individual willing to go above and beyond. Major Task Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: Credit Processes: 60% Review new customer credit applications, analyzing customer credit worthiness, documenting, and defending position Act as single point of contact for field partner and/or credit customer escalations/remediation Review and analyze various trade and financial publications to determine and identify potential negative customer trends Evaluate, prioritize, and monitor accounts to ascertain credit risk Assist with defining risk mitigation strategies for high risk and post-petition bankruptcy accounts Assist the Credit Risk group with quantitative and qualitative analysis Network with sales and credit professionals to assess market and channel risk Evaluate strategies to help reduce retail and supplier customer risk Special Projects/Analytics: 25% Lead ad hoc projects designed to optimize the credit risk mitigation platform Stay abreast with current industry technology/practice to influence direction Analytically mine portfolio for watch scenarios to minimize losses Creatively challenges norms Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
