The Finance Administration Supervisor manages and coordinates the activities of the Finance Administrative team, and oversees all responsibilities and activities in accordance with company standards and performance expectations. She/he is a valued business partner within the company and therefore delivers, directly or through her/his Finance team, operational support to improve performance.


The Finance Administration Supervisor ensures that the administrative and operational aspects of the Finance department goals are met.  This include responsibility for Finance compliance, Finance systems administration, Comfort Keepers Payroll, Finance Audits, month-end processes and tax and insurance handling.


The successful candidate will be someone who has a keen ability and a proven track record of handling all aspects of the company's financial operations and administrative responsibilities. The Finance Admin Supervisor will align and merge business goals with the Finance Department goals and reports directly to the Vice President, Finance Comfort Keepers, North America.


Education & Experience\u2022 Seven (7) years of financial experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization.\u2022 Three (3) plus years of progressive management experience and leadership roles.\u2022 Experience working in multi-state, national organizations.\u2022 Bachelors degree in Finance or related field required\u2022 Proven ability to manage and motivate others.\u2022 Proven ability to build cohesive relationships with Finance and other team members\u2022 Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with personnel at all levels of the company.\u2022 Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement.\u2022 Has a strong sense of urgency and personal commitment, and is decisive, confident, open and candid.\u2022 Strong computer skills for presentation and analysis of data.\u2022 Excellent project management skills.

Position Summary

Has working knowledge and experience in financial planning. Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers. Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments such as performing economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments. Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and assist in the preparation of reports and recommendations to management. Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning. Participates in financial models of \"what if\" scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development, new marketing strategies, etc. Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
