Job Description

General Summary:

The Chain Resolution Specialist is the primary field interface for high dollar/volume chain accounts. His or her role is to provide accurate and timely root cause resolution of customer exceptions while identifying and escalating ArcTree and portfolio issues.

Major Task Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Resolution: 40%

  • Primary contact for Field locations - Must have a strong understanding of both internal and external processes
  • Responsible for researching customer disputes/inquiries within set service level agreements including but not limited to: Pricing, Missing Payments, Missing Invoices, Missing DSD, Unauthorized Product, CDA, RPAs
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation within Oracle and ArcTree
  • Work closely with internal/external partners (Field/AR) to ensure accurate and timely communication
  • Partner with sub-team and other departments to achieve root cause resolution of customer exceptions
  • Meet Set Service Level Agreements, Productivity and Quality Goals
  • Have a strong understanding of CSC operations to appropriately advocate process compliance and field partnerships
  • Possess strong analytical skills to resolve a large volume of reason descriptions, across a wide variety of disputes/inquiries (listed above)
Research: 30%
  • A sampling of customer deductions to determine trends and raise visibility to reoccurring discrepancies
  • Obtain and track information to facilitate overall case volume reduction
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle Application to navigate/research
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Access applications to be able to pull reporting and analyze customer case volume

  • Provide cross-team support to drive business results
  • Share best practices and provide ad hoc assistance to ensure customer and field satisfaction
  • Provide analysis and feedback to internal/external teams

  • Drive career growth & knowledge through successful CDAP execution
  • Come Prepared to discuss ideas and provide process improvements to coaching sessions

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 1 to 3 Years Relevant Experience
  • High School diploma
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral)
  • Knowledge of A/R Software and Pepsi Applications (i.e., Oracle, ERT, ArcTree)
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Tenacious and results-oriented
  • PC proficient in Word, Access, and Excel
  • Strong team and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two to four year Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral)
  • Knowledge of A/R Software and Pepsi Applications (i.e., Oracle, ERT, ArcTree)
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Tenacious and results-oriented
  • PC proficient in Word, Access, and Excel
  • Strong team and organizational skills
