**ROLE SUMMARY**

The File Sample Technician is responsible for maintaining the visual inspection requirements for retain samples of finished goods. This individual is also responsible for maintaining documentation of tasks performed including inspections and routine reports.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Perform visual inspection on samples as required

+ Ensure compliance with area Standard Operating Procedures

+ Maintain warehouse inventory from receipt to destruction

+ Organizing and shipping of stability samples

+ Complete routine reports for Annual Review Reports and Yearly Reports

+ Ensure all storage areas are maintained at proper temperatures by review of temperature charts



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.

+ Maintain all applicable certifications including visual inspection certification and Certified Drug Agent (CDA) certification (can be obtained once in the role).

+ Ability to work well with all levels of personnel throughout the facility.

+ Demonstrated proficiency in computerized systems.



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ 3 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.



**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**



+ Stand up to 8 hours

+ Sit up to 2 to 4 hours

+ Occasionally lift a maximum of 20 pounds 3 times per shift

+ Work around and close to moving equipment



**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**



+ This role is primarily first shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Must be flexible to work outside of regularly scheduled hours as required to support business needs.

+ Ability to follow area specific gowning requirements.
