Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking to hire a Facilities Coordinator  to assist in overseeing building and equipment maintenance. Their duties include scheduling preventative maintenance tasks, reacting to maintenance emergencies, and testing building systems. They may also be required to assist in determining equipment and supply needs for new buildings.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist management to, plan and coordinate activities of custodial, maintenance, and grounds related assigned personnel.
  • Maintain and update financial records related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other internal software applications. 
  • Assist management with developing project estimates for customers, provide cost, schedule and scope information for customer review and approval.
  • Maintain and manage physical assets,  Material ordering and supply inventory.
  • Coordinate and monitor vendors performance of contracted services.
  • Assist management to develop and evaluate plans for facilities executed by vendors. 
  • Inspect entire buildings to identify general corrective maintenance as necessary for proper maintenance and operation of various equipment, fixtures, etc.
  • Report deficiencies and recommend areas for improvement to management.
  • Ensure to maintain and continue operation of mechanical systems like HVAC systems, boiler, fans, generators, electrical switch gear and UPS systems.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair programs on all building mechanical infrastructures.
  • Update and maintain records to track maintenance and repairs through our CMMS and SMS systems .
  • Varying administrative tasks related to the day to day operations of a facilities maintenance department. 
  • Direct and manage facilities emergencies as required.

Position Summary

Supervises hourly staff providing facilities maintenance and engineering services to clients. Responsible for work force planning, QA training, and administrative functions of the designated area of supervision. May report to GM in smaller accounts, or to an Ops Manager in a larger account, or to another manager level.

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements
