Cox Automotive, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, is seeking an Executive Client Partner to join our team in Irvine, CA.


The Cox Automotive Executive Client Partner reports into the VP, Enterprise Client Management and is responsible for supporting growth while maintaining a book of business across all solutions groups for Cox Automotives most important Enterprise clients. The Executive Client Partner is responsible for driving greater business value, increased revenue, and superior customer experience. He or she will have deeply embedded relationships at the senior executive level and a clear understanding of the clients strategies. The Executive Client Partner must have the ability to set and achieve relevant goals and be able to demonstrate the inter-connection of Cox Automotive solutions, data, and ROI, to clients. The Executive Client Partner will also maintain strong internal working relationships with cross-Cox Automotive teams, businesses, and leadership in order to secure the resources and investment needed to drive client success.


The Executive Client Partner will work closely with the entire Enterprise account team to drive the client relationship and ensure alignment with key decision makers and influencers in order to execute the overall client strategy. He or she will be responsible for partnering with all team members associated with the account to conduct account planning, identify & manage account lifecycle and set & execute client strategies to drive greater share of wallet. He or she is accountable for managing the business growth of their entire book of business, driving opportunities through the sales cycle from qualification to close and ensuring that all members of the account team are being appropriately leveraged. High collaboration and constant communication with the account team will be required. The Executive Client Partner will also serve as the escalation point for issues that impact the clients success and are accountable for issue resolution and risk mitigation.

*Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:*




* Manage executive-level relationships, advise clients on business and industry trends, and help them derive maximum value from investment in Cox Automotive brands

* Responsible for revenue generation, retention, and growth

* Help clients identify and establish a Strategic Account Plan for business success and position Cox Automotive as the partner to help them achieve their vision

* Identify risks to the client achieving their stated business goals and develop a risk mitigation plan

* Partner with full Enterprise account team to develop a comprehensive understanding of the clients business challenges and objectives in order to appropriately map Cox Automotive solutions and the associated business benefits to their needs

* Work with the full account team to identify new opportunities, drive revenue growth and increase Cox Automotive solution footprint

* Influence and enlist other internal functional support services (e.g. marketing, operations, pricing, product, etc.) as needed to ensure client success and revenue growth for Cox Automotive

* Develop proposal and present plans / proposals, ensure client retention through contract renewals, manage qualified sales opportunities in Salesforce.com, and collect and report on external data that impacts the client

* Evaluate and report on clients strategic business moves, including purchases, sales, and distribution

* Analyze competitors, industry trends and other critical determinants to assess the Strategic Account segments growth and expansion opportunities


Qualifications: *Required Experience (minimum):*




* BA/BS degree in related field and 12+ years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

* 7-10 + years experience in client management responsibilities to c-suite client base

* Exceptional industry and business acumen as well as consultative expertise

* Proven ability to strategically position and sell high value set service offerings, navigate corporate politics, establish and build long-term relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders

* Significant experience in developing and delivering comprehensive solution presentations and proposals to decision makers and influencers

* Minimum bachelors degree
