Workplace Solutions is one of Prudentials three U.S. businesses alongside Individual Solutions and Investment Management. This role will provide administrative support to the Head of Marketing Strategy as well as the Marketing Strategy Team within the Workplace Solutions Marketing Group. The position will reside in Hartford, CT.


Job Responsibilities:

Administrative work of various degrees of difficulty and complexity to include but limited to:

  • Manage calendar and meeting needs of the vice presidents; schedule and manage the logistics for large and / or multilocation meetings with the Strategy Leadership Team and others

  • Make travel arrangements and prepare detailed travel itineraries

  • Process expense receipts and submit vouchers

  • Serve as the Information Security Administrator submitting requests for approval.

  • Responsible for technology procurement orders

  • Coordinate on-boarding of new hires (including technology, HR policy and procedure, and system security requests)

  • Coordinate special projects, as needed

  • Handle day-to-day administrative needs of the department, including ensuring supplies are on-hand and equipment is serviced



  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an administrative or executive assistant

  • High School Diploma

  • Associates degree or higher, strongly preferred

  • High degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic coupled with a sense of responsibility

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities

  • High degree of attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to remain focused and steady under tight time constraints, and to prioritize tasks effectively

  • A high degree of initiative and demonstrated good judgment

  • Strong partnering skills and a team-player attitude

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to provide superior customer service

  • Strong listening skills with the ability to analyze the situation and take appropriate action

  • High degree of motivation and ability to learn quickly

  • Discretion required in handling confidential information in a respectful manner

  • Flexibility to work overtime on an as-needed basis

  • Proficiency at Microsoft 365 suite; Mac proficiency a plus
