Cox Enterprises is hiring an Ethics and Compliance Manager to join our Atlanta team! As the Ethics and Compliance Manager, you will report to the Director of Ethics and Compliance and be responsible for executing regulatory risk assessments, as well as managing the technical and administrative aspects of the daily operations of the Ethics & Compliance Office.


*Position Responsibilities *




* Assist the Director of Ethics & Compliance with the regulatory and legal risk assessments for the Enterprise and other divisions.

* Work with business leaders to document and prepare a gap analysis of current compliance programs.

* Perform system administrative duties in our risk assessment tool in addition to working with stakeholders to identify and escalate compliance risks, using the information to surface compliance risk patterns.

* Develop, document, and provide ongoing management of new compliance programs to include mandatory reporting, training requirements, and policies necessary to comply with the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

* Stay up to date with changing regulations in order to provide guidance and strategies that will mitigate risk exposure to the Company.

* Check the ethics email inbox, triaging the messages to the appropriate compliance team member, and opening cases in the hotline case management system for any ethics concerns that come through the mailbox.

* Be the system administrator of the hotline case management system, including training and adding new users, ensuring proper access is granted, and deactivating terminated employees from the system.

* Manage incoming Conflicts of Interest and Gift & Entertainment disclosure cases to the hotline case management system and communicate determinations to employees.

* Maintain the Board Indemnification Disclosure list and Directors & Officers insurance documents and update it annually with the Conflict of Interest Certification results. Communicate approved determinations to employees.

* Be the system administrator for the PolicyTech policy management system

* Assist the Director with gathering and analyzing data required for internal investigations while demonstrating consistent sound judgment and discretion in all matters

* Draft content for the Integrity Center website using various compliance resources including the monthly Integrity Center newsletter.

* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Minimum five years of experience with a BS/BA in Finance, Accounting and experience in Compliance and Internal Controls

* Compliance certifications preferred (CFE, CCEP, CRCM, LPEC)

* Tableau experience is a plus.

* Have a high degree of professional ethics and integrity

* Demonstrated project management and change management experience

* Demonstrated personal credibility and trustworthiness

* Help with internal investigations with complete objectivity, confidentiality, and consistency.

* The ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and meet critical deadlines

* Experience using data to identify insights that drive action

* Experience working with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance & Accounting, Business Operations Sr. Leadership) to execute opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiencies by taking a leadership role in driving solutions, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

* Experience working in a matrix environment, collaborating, and influencing others, and build strong professional relationships.

* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and ability to exercise sound judgment while working autonomously.

* Excellent customer service skills, time management, project management, and follow-up.
