Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes pharmacy software applications and business data to ensure accurate findings and applicable recommendations
  • ""
  • Relies upon conceptual knowledge, analytical methods, and problem-solving skills to perform assignments and improve efficiencies within existing applications
  • ""
  • Provides ITS solutions and services which ultimately contribute to patient safety and care
  • ""
  • Demonstrated knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures used specifically within a healthcare technology applications environment
  • ""
  • Process Improvement - Works closely with end users to identify problems and provide solutions
  • ""
  • End User Education - Educates end user to ensure efficient and effective use of application(s)
  • ""
  • Technical Development - Researches, evaluates, designs, and implements specific applications within multiple business areas
  • ""
  • Strategic Responsibilities - Assists in the re-engineering of technical workflows, relying on best practices as applied to similar business areas
  • ""
  • Hardware / Software - Selection - Participates in the selection process of new applications and / or systems
  • ""
  • Operations - Participates in on-call coverage during off hours

Required Qualifications:

  • RPh or PharmD
  • ""
  • Epic Willow certification
  • ""
  • 2+ years of experience supporting pharmacy applications or experience in a clinical pharmacy setting
  • ""
  • Participation in on call rotation
  • ""
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
