This position provides operational support to WellMed facilities in the areas of janitorial services, waste management services, pest control, document management services, and other aspects of the environment of care.

Primary Responsibilities:

""
    ""
  • Monitors ServiceNow (or other software) for janitorial services, waste management services, pest control, document management services, or other requests that impact the environment of care
  • ""
  • Coordinates resolution of issues with vendors when necessary and documents
  • ""
  • Communicates with customer to ensure customer is satisfied and requests are properly documented and closed
  • ""
  • Assists Environmental Services Manager with monitoring of the environment of care through surveys and site visits as assigned. Documents findings in appropriate media and performs follow-up by phone or e-mail
  • ""
  • Assists clinics with document management activities and provides training when necessary
  • ""
  • Assists Environmental Services Manager with management of vendors/contracts and tracking of associated expenses
  • ""
  • Responds to telephone calls and e-mails for support, ensuring steady communication with customers. Escalates issues to management when necessary
  • ""
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • ""
  • 4+ years of clinical or hospital experience (physician practice, SNF, ambulatory center, etc.)
  • ""
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant
  • ""
  • Computer literacy to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • ""
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • ""
  • Ability and willingness to travel (locally and non-locally) as determined by business needs
  • ""
  • Ability and willingness to work irregular hours on occasion
  • ""
  • Current drivers license
  • ""
